  1. Adam is there a BBQ on? i'm in for shooting/spectating/cooking (BBQ pending)
  2. Can I haz a lift of someonez?
  3. Ditto. Engine failure is too higher risk at this point.
  4. The black box with the pinout diagram could be an immobiliser... With your wires that you've circled with red - stick a multi meter on the end and try turning on your headlights, ignition, etc and see what happens, other than that i'm out of ideas as well.
  5. Poke it with the multimeter! Might give you an answer or 2.
  6. Armco doesn't save a 4WD, just makes them somersault a few times before hitting the ground again. Seriously, If you want a 'big car' for the missus: put her in a Stagea, namely the M35 variety and she'll be ten times more safe in one of those rather than a Cruiser or a Patrol.
  7. No, Nada, Nein, Nyet, Garrrn Git FARKED! Any air that leaves the motor post intake/turbo pre combustion is considered a bad thing by the authorities.
  8. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/St...ussion-f82.html Ask here. and turn your caps lock off.
  9. The other thing that makes CF bonnets illegal is if you have a frontal accident the bonnet might come though the windscreen and decapitate you if it doesn't shatter. Just to expand on Evil_Weevil's advice, If CF shatters and enters the human body it can be extremely difficult to remove because it doesn't show up on X-ray scans.
  10. hehehe, M35: toasting BMW X5's everywhere! f*ck I want one soooooooooo bad.
  11. Don't take this as gospel but I *think* Takero's make the panels that cover up the roof rail holes. It's either Takero's or Eastbear.
  12. So when are you bringing it down my way Mr Bakes?
  13. I bought new goggles today. Thought i'd get all arty with the remote flash, D&G was an after thought since the frames are D&G.
  14. I use the factory Canon cable release with locking shutter button - 50 smackas from CameraHouse. There are 3rd party ones and also a Canon IR remote but I think the IR doesnt have lockdown.
  15. That shot I posted was 2hrs.
  16. Interested in the ignite gauges - bit more info please namely what ones are they and can you please post pictures.
  17. It's largely ran by smaller cars although an R32 GTR with mild mods, good tires and brakes would handle it well enough. Guilt-Toy ran in it this year and had a good time from what I can gather.
  18. Star trails are always such a cool thing to do however for those of you living in the city it can be difficult as you've got lots of ambient light given off from the surrounding buildings and other crap. Best bet would be to pick a good clear night and make a trip out towards Lithgow and shoot in the mountains. I've done star trails before with good results - the trick is finding the celestial south pole and aiming from there. This was shot at my farm up near Scone.
  19. www.my105.com.au Track cars to be had.
  20. Sydney Motorshow Media Day. Trying to be like those pretty promo girls.
  21. During braking, accellerating, cruising....where does it do it? Yes. Get one now. All cars do it mate, my Stagea was the same because it used to rattle and buzz whenever I travelled down rough roads - it was worse in my car also because I had Tein Coilovers which were fairly firm, your teeth fillings would fall out if you hit a big bump. We'll need pictures for this one but i'd suggest you rock on down to Supercrap Auto and get some Mcguirs metal polish for the gear knob and surounding console. 1200 does seem a touch high, should be around the 800 mark. Try resetting the ECU by leaving the battery D/C'ed overnight. Failing that - (GTR owners!) Does the throttle body have an idle adjust screw? I wouldn't bother - if you're going slower than your speedo suggests atleast you'll know you won't get done for speeding any time soon. Overall it's a very nice example, i'd still be happy with it regardless of its discrepancies.
  22. Alright alright alright you win!
  23. X2 It's one of those cars you have to see in the metal to behold its artfulness and execution, I was amazed with the build quality and cleanliness of the car when I saw it and worked around it at Autosalon back in May. The new owner should feel privileged to own a small piece of SAU memorabilia.
  24. That's just ironic coming from someone who drives a doctor's car.
