  1. Alex you'll probably get picked up for a VIIU inspection when you apply for rego but it's nothing to worry about. All they do is check the car to see if it's a rebirth by checking the VIN and Engine numbers, Apparently it doesn't cost anything but don't take that as gospel.

  3. Spied a pair of white 33's at work (Morriset Square) on Sunday - One non-turbo S1 driven by some kid who looked like he was about 12. 2nd one was an S2, low, big f*ck off FMIC and no frontbar.

  7. So over all - not too bad. I was getting 350km to 60ltrs in the Volvo so i'm thinking an M35 might be the way to go. I'm far too addicted to the AWD turbo wagon concept to let go of it and a Legnum seems very inferior compared to the M35.

  12. What kind of fuel mileage is everyone getting from their M35's? I'm thinking strongly about getting an M35 once i've paid off a few debts but the only thing turning me off buying one is the way fuel prices are going atm. Also, those of you with the Bose sound systems: can you upgrade the door speakers and also run a sub off the system? i'm assuming the headunit doesn't have RCA outlets but I did read somewhere that the factory system does come with a sub woofer (bro) built in.
  13. All it would be is unburnt fuel going out the exhaust, mine used to do it all the time particularly if I go up it then threw out the anchors straight away. Gut your cat converter and watch for the flames....and the police.

  15. Get your driveline issue sorted before the fuel issue because if it's something to do with the ATTESA then it'll be super-expensive if it breaks! As for your fuel issue, i'd suggest getting the car dyno'ed to see what the AFR's are doing then take appropriate measures from there.

  17. With a Nissan factory tune and a gutted cat converter you don't need to buy a flamethrower kit.

  20. Yeah, I'm still getting flashbacks and it makes me teary at times. the sore neck and bruised right hip isn't helping either.

  22. The interior bits and body kit look cool but the side decals are as camp as a row of tents!
  23. These little doozys I think i'll take you and Dave up on the offer to strip the car one weekend, i'll even drag the BBQ out. Just need to work something out with Mr Ferguson who also wants the whole wreck. I'm thinking we all just rock up on the day, take what you want and everyone's happy. Slowly replying to the PM's.
