  1. It's due for it's 5000km service and i'd like to get a few things looked at while i'm there.
  2. I'll jump in here and spin my story: I bought mine purely as a load-carrying thing as I have a Downhill Mountain Bike and a Drumkit, My previous car was a '92 Subaru Liberty and it wasn't coping with the heavy weight of the drumkit or the physical size of the mountain bike. I was originally looking at buying a Forester but at the time they were priced outside my budget range, I discovered my Stagea on J-Spec priced at $10,800 and the rest is History. The wagon is an attention whore - I get people coming upto me at service stations and parking lots asking me what sort of car it is, I also get my fair share of runs in the traffic light grand prix. I don't have any kids or a girlfriend so i'm safe in that regard.
  3. I'm coming down this week - If I make it to Dahtone on Thursday i'll be meeting up with everyone at the truck stop.

    Anime/Manga

I'm another devout Anime fan. I personally have the full series of Neon Genesis Evangelion on DVD somewhere here. I also had a copy of Akira and Castle of Cagliostro on VHS but they've gone walkabout. I've got Porko Rosso here on DVD too. Love it to death.
  5. Directly behind the airbox mate. I can take pictures for you if you get stuck, PM me.
  6. I bin busseh with personal shit and a mis-behaving car! I'll be out this Thursday coming though.
  7. hahaha! I thought it was Haysey! Sly work with the camera when I was sitting at Mangrove waiting on the C&I Cardigan Club to catch up. Who was that guy that did his front end in just up from the pub?
  8. Spotted EGA41T rolling through the Foreshore last night here in Newcastle. Very narce.
  9. Question about the Saturday afternoon - Are we all meeting somewhere at the start of the Hume Hwy and cruising down as a group or is it fend for yourself?
  10. So was this a one-off or are we likely to see you again soon? I've been wanting to see your wild beast up close.
  11. I'm in for shooting duties finance and time permitting. Might do some time keeping and marshalling too.
  12. Happy Birthday Kasey. Ian (Silver kitted Stagea)
  13. Who made the Eyelids? i'm currently trying to source a pair that I saw on Yahoo Japan that I missed out on due to not having an account set up. Could be from the same manufacturer.
  14. Apparently there's a few vacuum plug somethings on the back of the plenum nearest to the firewall but i've plumbed mine into the front of the plenum running off the Fuel regulator line. Just a warning, make sure all the hoses are secured properly if you do it this way as it could get messy if comes undone and the FPR looses vacuum pressure.
  15. They look at my wagon and think it's an 850C so no complaints here. I was watching them though, picked out atleast 3 F6's in 'camo' and one HWP loitering around the Foreshore.
  16. How much fuel did you use?
  17. Heard you coming as well, hence why I turned around to see what all the kerfuffle was about. and yes my Stagea was parked just across from where I was standing - Silver S1 with big f*ck-off bodykit.
  18. Spied TWO06L prowling the Foreshore earlier this afternoon in town.
  19. I saw you.
  20. The only other reason (i've been told) is to do with the length of time the car may have been sitting still for - Tires go hard and turn brittle if they are left in the same position for a long period of time, drive on them after this period and you'll be risking a tire blow out. ....Wouldn't want that happening above 100km/h now would we? For the record, I drive around on Japanese tires because they were brand new when it came off the boat, I couldn't justify spending up on new rubber when there wasn't any point to chucking out the current tires.
  21. On the topic of boost gauges I fitted one yesterday to the steering column as it's below the top of the steering wheel, it's still easy to read and it's the straightest route for the vacuum line. Am I the only one who's done this?
  22. I'll probably come out for a stickybeak.
  23. Mick you can get remote keys done through Mr Minit for $130ish - It's the same key as a Patrol.
