    Dawdlers

hahahaha, We always get a handful of these douchebags here in Newcastle that can't do the speedlimit and my solution to this is I pretty much ride their rear bumper and bully them into doing the speedlimit. Amen about the F3 on-ramps and getting upto 110km/h. My old man used to be a serial offender until I rode shotgun with him to Sydney once... Let's just say he got yelled at after we cut off 2 large semitrailers whilst merging onto the F3. I needed a fresh pair of panties after that. Furthermore, I can stand people that don't indicate on motorways when changing lanes! It's not that hard!
  3. Payment Received from: Yo-Yo Posting that out today.
  4. Couple of Stagea snaps...
  5. You forgot the close-up shot.
  6. 4992 x 3328 = 16 Megapixels Average file size is about 10mb per image. Received Payments from: Duncan Tang3rine (BallsOutRacing) Posting those out today.

  8. Alright guys first of all sorry about the delay on these, i've been flat out with other work and my PC got slugged with a 'slow-virus' so there was a few 4am bed times last week in a desperate bid to get these done. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v282/Xme...%20Oran%20Park/ Now because this is the last ever SAUNSW event to be held at Oran Park i'm offering all the full res images on a DVD (because they all won't fit on a CD) to everyone that attended. The idea of this DVD is so you can go down to your local print lab and get prints done in virtually any size if you find a photo of your car that you really really really like. Or you can just have the DVD for memorabilia/sentimental reasons...show your kids when they get old enough or something (This is what Daddy/Mummy used to do before you came along and spoiled the party). The price of these DVD's is $20 which covers postage. Every DVD sold will be giving $10 from each sale back to SAUNSW because they are such a great club. How do you buy? Deposit your $20 here: Account Name: I R BURGESS Account Number: 00043860 BSB Number: 802194 (Teachers Credit Union, Homebush) Reference (SAU Username only) PM me with your bank reference and your postal address with your full name! ....then go outside after about 2-3 days and it should be in your mail box. Attention Thursday night Central Coast People You guys have the option of either paying online or paying cash. Pick up is available.
  9. Demon I got the whole thing on film, I was standing at the end of the pit wall - got about 5 frames then had to take a step back because I thought you were going to hit the wall! Pics should be up in the next day or 2 people - my PC has been hit with a 'slow virus' so what would've taken 2 days has taken 7 days.
  10. Studio sesh on Monday.
  11. As long as there is petrol in the ground there will always be shows like Powercruise. This means that you should take the kit you've got and learn from it, learn about what you can and can't do while you're out there. Obviously in-field shooting is going to be a waste of time with the 18-55mm lens but you can still do stuff in the pits and shoot cars from the pit wall on the straight. Don't forget that if you do decide to buy a long lens or anything else that it must also be usable outside Powercruise. I have a 70-200mm F2.8L which not only gets used for Powercruise it also gets used for studio work and wedding gigs. Food for thought.
  12. Alrighty, the stats are in! 11.3GB of images to sift through tomorrow because i'm shooting again in a few hours today. - i'm gonna be busy for a while. First of all, very special thanks to Duncan & Neil for organising the day and special thanks to Mr Baxter for running the day special thanks to Mrs De Pau for lunch. I have to say that everyone drove really well and didn't mis-behave. I'll be back in a few days with images.
  13. I'm leaving here in T-minus 5hrs 50mins. hoping to get there at 8 so if you need an extra set of hands for scrutinising I'll jump in.
  14. haha, Ando's Cefiro was something of a novelty at a few of the Autosports days at Wakie - Early 5-series BMW Ando?
  15. Hopefully Parra takes those dirty Mexicans to the cleaners. Go Parra!
  16. When: 2006 Where: Wakefield Park With who: Autosports Any pre-setup involved: Remove the camera from it's bag. Favourite memory of the day: Too many memories Things you learnt; Take a f**king raincoat! lol (and get a bigger lens/camera - went armed with a Canon Powershot S45) How much fun you had! Too much fun. As a shooter with many trackdays under my cowboy hat it's always amusing seeing it from the sideline and also (if i'm lucky) from the passenger seat. Watching newbies develop over the space of the day and getting it on film is one of the more priceless occurrences at events like this. Also getting other things on film like the experienced guys hanging tails out and plowing through the kitty litter is what makes the drive down from Newcastle worth it.
  17. Shot this last Sunday.
  18. Can someone enlighten me on in-field camera spots if there are any? Does Oran have flag huts like Wakefield does?
  19. It's dark so it hides all the dints and scratches! (it's my daily) Shot yesterday after the dust had settled.
  20. Constant light yes, i'm not actually allowed to tell what I used though because i'm sworn to secrecy by the owner of the light.
  21. Apparently the wind is supposed to ease off in the afternoon. I'll be out watching for a good sunset. Those of you with SLR and DSLR cameras be advised that it is NOT a good idea to change lenses OUTSIDE your car or house.
  22. mucking around on Sunday night... Was learning the art of light painting.
  23. Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II = 300.000 cycles Canon EOS 5D Mark II = 100.000 cycles. You do the math Sidd.
  24. Dodge it needs a Nissan logo in one of the corners but other than that, brilliant shot mate.
