  2. Craving a mixed Kebab here. Salmonella here I come!
  3. Another boring day here in the studio. The producer is romancing one of our clients, the A&R rep is on hols and i'm here bored off my wits - might call it a day at 2pm and piss off in town for a ride. Being your own boss FTW!
  4. The photos are still in the stop baths at this point in time.
  5. Two mates of mine just got back from the press day - both said it was pretty C Grade. basic summary: Not alot of new stuff there. The subaru WRC and the M3 were the big hits. There was a suprleggera and a "Versace" murcielago at lambo. The evo X is even uglier in person. The H3 is a joke. The Lotus exige 240 is sex on wheels, as is the 2 eleven. The new 100 series landcruiser looks like the old one. The new clubsport look alot better than the previous incarnation. Honda was....well...Honda. Nothing new there at all. Volvo was volvo.
  6. Congratulations mate! No boosting it on the way home with the kid in the back now ya hear!
  7. Just finished processing a batch of photos here, bludge time ahoy until the other boffins come back - might go and fix the mountain bike. Self-employed photographer here.
  8. I've seen a couple floating around on Yahoo Japan, Go and have a chat to Zac over at Slidewize Imports and see what he can get for you.
  9. Sit down and watch a few episodes of Top Gear if you want to know how to use an air field with a car.
  10. Something else to think about Boat ramp locations are very 1991 and you're shooting a car built in 1999, try and find a location that complements the age of the car - for example try and find a modern industrial complex or something that's only recently been built. Even underground car parks late at night are a winner provided the place doesn't look like it was built back in the stone age. Take your tripod if you're going to be shooting underground, the light levels won't be enough to shoot free hand. Examples of modern locations that i've shot cars at: Underground Car Park examples shot by me: As you can see the cars match the location in a few ways ranging from colour, vehicle age and so on. Factor this in on your next outting and you'll be onto a winner. MSN me if you want to ask questions.
  11. I can't praise you enough for your efforts mate. A true champion.
  12. *moan* Ahh the joys of importing a car. ...meanwhile back on topic.
  13. Rule out standard parts fees and you've got me, Got a mate who owns 4 Stags as parts mules. So far i've worked out where it's going to cost but not how much yet... Customs broker/shipping fees Compliance - Powerplay quoted me 3200 (not sure if tires are in the price) Rego costs/taxes What have I forgotten?
  14. Ahh yerp. stole it for $10,800 ex tires/rego incl. compliance. Detail shots of the wheels show them to be genuine Work Emotion rollers - worth a pretty penny apparently. Car got loaded onto the boat Saturday just gone so i'm currently waiting on the call from Customs in about 1-2 weeks.
  15. Happy Birthday dear sir.
  16. Slidewize Imports is about the easiest place you're going to get them, catch is they have to come from Japan so that rules out that idea. Since we're in search mode - Where do I gets an S1 260RS wing?
  17. They have copyright laws in place to prevent people scanning it too. Hence why i'm not scanning it - even if my picture is on the first page of the article *cha-cha dances*
  18. Page 40 Thank you Thank you *bows*
  19. Tightarses.
  20. Happy Birthday Darl! Your pressie is in the mail.
  21. Wow, disappear for a week and someone else is posting pics of my car on the site! :laughing-smiley-014: On topic, I personally have no idea what kit it is that's on my car but I have a sneaking suspicion that it's a Dolphin kit.
  22. Can't see it, Andy.
  23. Wonder if my stuff will be in it...*scratches head*
  24. Background: Bringing a Stagea in via Sydney drive on/Drive off stylez through J-Spec Customs Broker What are the pros/cons of using a Customs Broker? How much do they charge? Recommendations? Is it easier to not use a Customs Broker? Quarantine: Do I physically have to go to the docks to 'sterilise' the car myself or not? Powerplay Imports gave me the impression I have to clean the car myself, doesn't bother me i'm used to hard work but i'm just clarifying before rocking up there with cleaning aids on to find out it's been done.
