  1. You'd definitely cop some strange looks while driving that around here!
  2. Who's touching up the bodykit mate?
  3. Undecided about the aesthetics of it but I personally think it's more things to worry about in regards to speed humps and tail-to-curb parking. At the end of the day it's your car though.
  4. The guy I spoke to said if it pokes 50mm past the 'standard' length of the car it won't pass. I thought that was a bit strange since Brycey's S2 has a bigger snow plow than my wags and it got past.
  5. I've already been and spoken to one of the local import parts peddlers and they've offered me full run of their parts to get it past compliance - catch is I have to leave my bits there along with all my details as a bond but i'm not fussed. The only thing the compliance guys were umming/ahhing over is the bodykit, wheels and suspension (so far), otherwise the rest of the car is standard and the compliance guys are handing the aftermarket bit back after it's all done. I think i'll be keep the naughty bits off until the bluey/rego/ctp is done.
  6. Compliance update: Turns out the Tiens, Wheels and front bar might not make it past compliance...*shakes fist at DoTaRs* Does $3000 sound about right for a Compliance fee?
  7. Try putting some Loctite on the thread before screwing the nut back on that secures the balancer.
  8. There's a blue Stagea on Carsales in NSW at the moment with R34 GTR rims if you wanted to see how it would look.
  9. Pick me up on the way down Bryce!
  10. My stuff, hope i'm not too late Pictures are too big to post so click the links.
  11. Hot dawg there's some nice front guards on that site! Got some nice rear 'awnings' too! :laughing-smiley-014:
  12. Couldn't handle the extra two cylinders huh? hehehe 180's are still a nice car though and very potent little machines. If I didn't have a drum kit and a mountain bike to cart around i'd have one.
  13. *sniff sniff* DIY thread ahoy!
  14. O-ring or hose...I think i'll do both just to be sure but once i've determined what it is i'll get onto it straight away Question: What fluid does the ATTESA use? is it a specialised hydraulic fluid or something you can buy off the shelf? Edit: Jap inspection has been ruled out as the car is waiting to be loaded onto the next available ship.
  15. Yeah J-Spec offer an inspection but i'm not sure about getting it fixed over there... Can some please elaborate on what would be the solution to fixing it? is it just a seal or do I have to replace a hose or worse?
  16. Just got photos back from J-Spec It looks very messy but i'll post them up here for a second opinion... pictures attached
  17. Thanks guys Something tells me it'll be a job to do before compliance, hoping it's only a small job where I can cart some tools, a jack and ramps down to Sydney to do it. If not: Degrease and hope it doesn't leak too much!
  18. Hi guys Recently bought a MY97 RS Four V from J-Spec imports, Their service has been outstanding thus far. http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=10187 $10,800 landed and complied, the car is still sitting in Japan at this point but it should be getting put on a big boat soon enough. The consultant sent me an email asking if i'd seen the 'small' oil leak coming from the gearbox... My question is this: What are all the possble leak points on the gearbox apart from the front and rear seals and the drain plug? They think it may not get past Compliance/rego with it leaking so i'd like to get it cleared up before taking it to the compliance place. Apart from that i'm chuffed with the purchase. Thanks in advance for gearbox answers.
  19. God it's going to be hard to choose for me. I'll do up a handful of samples when I get home.
  20. Some of my stuff - can post more if need be.
  21. Afternoon all, i've been very slack in the last week with processing photos but they're finally done. I went thought and sorted the Stagea photos from 'everyone else' If anyone would like a new Desktop Background or an unframed print please let me know via PM. Thanks. Ian
  22. What a day, It's monday morning and i'm stuck here at work trying to find a picture of a Stagea to print off and stick on the wall with "no more spending, you are saving to buy one of these!" written on it lol, Very special thanks to Bryce for taking me there and back again and thanks to you guys the Stagea clan for making me feel welcome. I'll post up pictures as soon as I get home from the office later tonight.
  23. For an outsider like myself who's never been to an SAU event before: you are all rightfully deserving of the awards and accolades given today and at future events. I was rightly impressed with the way everyone conducted themselves and organised the car displays and the way the day progressed with the judging. Was good catching up with mates and meeting new people - snapped off 150ish images *hi-5* lol, overall I had a superb day. I'll admit I was there not only for enjoyment but I was also there for research, i'm hoping to buy a Stagea and today pretty much cemented my next car in life. Special thanks to those who arranged and ran the event, you all should be extremely chuffed. Photos to follow!
  24. I was eyeing this one off last night, darn.
  25. 1 Mr Jevic + 1 Carton of Boags + 1 bufferdrill/liquid polish = clean GT-T. Didn't take an accountant to figure that one out.
