easy option for R30 is toturbo the stock l24e L28e motor <if its aus spec or just rebuildthe L20ET factory motor < if its jap spec

i wont be there watching for the first time in a couple of years i have to work

HR30 is a 4 door at least mine is also you might not have to upgrade the brakes if it is a HR30 as they came with a l20 et 6 cyl turbo engine aussie MR30 came with non turbo l24 or l28 i have R30 workshop maual if you ever wan to look through it sorr it aint for sale lol i need it for my HR30

I agree the brakes should be the very first thing done before any engine work begins car pobaby wouldn't make it over pits without brake upgrade

standard intercooler is good enough to pull low 11's i ran 11.6 with motor as in my fisrt post with crappy nangkangs so decent tyres will bring that down a few 10ths

i will be replacing mine with HKS GT-SS turbo's while i rebuild my engine

3in exhaust pod filters high flow cat and wind ya boost up to 14 psi should see 330 + hp good for 11's its not so much what stock engine will take boost wise the stock ceramic turbo's wont like any more than 1 bar (14.9 lb)

hope you realise all the hassles you will have from your local council regarding noise etc you will have to build a dyno specific room with sound proofing etc as it will be in a residential area noise abatement laws are fun In City Of Gosnells only 1HOUR per day permitted of noise not considered as every day noise Found all this stuff out because my neighbour is a drummer and no more than 1 hour per day between 9 a and 4 pm is permitted NO abnormal noise l outside those hours is permitted So I really think you will need to contact the City Of Stirling to find out what their noise policy is
