there are 3 different styles of R34 headlight
xenon style (over $3100 new, from $1000-$2500 second hand)
non-xenon black style (around $1100 new, from $500-$800 second hand)
non-xenon silver style (around $1100 new, from $500-$800 second hand)
-brand new xenon headlights your looking at around $3000
-second hand xenon obviously ranges from around $1000-$2500 delivered (postage is the main killer, as with all the parts)
-brand new non-xenon headlights its around $1100
-second hand non-xenon headlights around $500-$800
-i got my genuine bonnet for $650 (typically around $800-900) second hand
-front bar i got for $850 delivered to my door (no skirts but had the mesh)
-im not sure on the final cost of the CCubed guards but i think around $550-$600, absolutely perfect guards, alot of time has gone into perfecting them!
-glass reo is about $350
-glass lip is $220
Keep in mind to use the slidewize calculator when priceing stuff (that's if your using slidewize) as the price bumps up a fair amount.
there are many other things that haven't been individually priced like the headlight mounts etc, but all the parts have the option of being carbon. and plus CCubed will be offering a complete drive in-drive out package that includes the works. Andrew's (at custom carbon components) email is [email protected]
most of this Darrin has already mentioned but i thought i would just confirm
fiberglass may be typically brittle but the products that CCubed use and produce are second to none, and are not made from the cheap Japanese resin.
cheers mate yup i have recieved that from you before, looks like a good job im picking up the car tomorrow so ill have some finished product pictures soon!
using the standard radiator mount was fine, they had to cut some metal out of the support to fit the headlights, make up some custom headlight mounts out of fibreglass and move the bonnet catch forward
cheers guys!
yeah me and a mate stripped down the front end at the workshop, very easy to remove the headlights. if you want more info on how to change them back to xenon then check out this topic, lots of useful information

should be this week
Andrew at CCubed spent a huge amount of time perfecting the side guards to get it spot on and aligned correctly, lines up perfectly!
its a genuine bar GTR bar, it will never see a dremel!!!!
total estimate, but maybe 4 - 4.5k for parts?
i was lucky, most of my parts went cheaply on yahoo with a high currency exchange rate, it can cost up to 7k for parts easy. also, im not using genuine Xenon headlights, so that saved about 2k
hahah thats basically it mate gotta stand out some how! and what better way than with a big yellow wagon but in all honesty i think my next stagea will be a black/silver so i can fit in alittle more discretely...
the tape is for alignment
cheers man, yeah my other wheels will be going straight back on as soon as i get the car back, the stocko's are only on because i was scared about my good wheels maybe getting overspray on them etc
its hard to put a firm price on how much the parts cost as it varies so much.. most of the parts i bought in japan so it also depends on the exchange! luckily i got most of my parts when the dollar was around the 106 yen mark!
Andrew is very confident that its more than strong enough, it appears to be very thick and rigid so it should do the job on the big plus side the glass reo weighs 1.85kgs compared to 5.25kg for the standard one. there was going to be a obvious weight difference from day one, but we also chose to go this direction because we couldn’t find a genuine one anywhere!
i will be for sure man
new update!! primer tomorrow
the rear bar and skirts still need a bit more of a repair and the respray, but its due for early next week
there has been a few issues but.. the cooler dosnt seem to fit behind the bar.. but it should all work out
sorry for such a delayed update! progress has been a tad slower than first expected
the front bar reo and headlight mounts are complete, and the majority of the remaining parts are nearly finished, expected to be driving early next week
we ran into some problems sourcing headlights but things are looking a bit smoother now
hope to have more pics and info soon!
cheers mate!
i cant either!
been itching to come to these meets will have to come for sure
iv been following your progress didnt know you were going for the full respray but! any reason for that or do you just want toget everything matching?
far out what a mess very sorry to hear that it has gotten to this point mate
hope it all gets sorted quickly
edit: did you ever try anything like installing another cat? (dual cats) for the emissions test? sounds silly but could work..
no issues here ... except for the painted plastic parts fading faster than the painted metal parts (eg side moulds, dayz tail light covers etc), but its hardly noticeable
but as Logan has previously mentioned, they do surprisingly attract bee's
