  2. Side Skirts sold! thinking about parting out the front end.. PM if your keen will take better pictures soon
  3. hahah well you should be talking to Andrew, he is the one working the magic this time
  4. great to see you finally got it! looks fantastic feedback left for you aswell no worries mate glad your happy with it! its an expensive plate to have on your wall! haha but i guess a GTR is a suitable upgrade ill have to discuss this with AM Performance.. i will PM you if there is another group buy powdercoated covers are in the post!! .. finally
  5. stinky rooster just hit vtec yo?
  6. cheers for the info guys! much appreciated, ill try and get them to invoice the items at the product cost rather than the total
  7. how about this.. what if you were buying a item that was $980 and the postage is $50 (totalling $1030), is this item included as below $1000 because the actual item cost under $1000, or does it go on the complete overall cost of the item (item+postage) because im right on the edge of $1000 (as mentioned) and would much prefer not to go through all that shit..
  8. here are some pictures i just took.. this is behind the drivers side main headlight body (Stagea S2) starting from the left.. - the box screwed onto the side of the headlight is the xenon unit, next on the right is.. - the 3 pin plug is the headlight leveler, next on the right is.. - out of the next 2 smaller plugs - one is the parker light and I’m not sure what the other one is, will take a look.. next on the right is.. - the lid to the main headlight enclosure.. inside this area is where you should hopefully find your Xenon D2R cable! you will also need the Xenon Bulbs and this bracket that looks like it would hold everything into place so before you do anything, make sure you still have the xenon unit still attached to the side of your headlight enclosure! after that, check for the D2R harness and socket which should be hidden away nicely inside the enclosure.. if its still al there then it would just be a matter of putting it all back together how it came out of the factory! sorry that i cant do a more detailed write up.. never got the chance to do this myself while it was still in the car
  9. nah mate, i just stripped down my front end so im able to get a really good look at the headlight enclosure and how its all configured. the company that complied my stag kept the Xenon unit and wires intact, they just tucked everything (the wires) inside the enclosure out of sight and wired up the non-xenon globe. i know that Mike40Sydney got his stag complied at the same workshop as mine, and they did identical work regarding the headlights. he switched his back to xenon in 15 minutes but i never got around to it while my headlights were in the car
  10. looks awesome mate!! glad you love it very suited glad to hear you got it feedback left - as with all the buyers
  11. ill take some pictures tomorrow of my headlights
  12. cheers mate if i had a 260rs / 260rs-front i wouldn’t be changing it either!! haha yeah the R34 GTR front end is absolutely amazing, i wouldn’t be going this far if i didn’t adore it! keeping the yellow considered doing a full respray to bayside blue or millennium jade but id much prefer to keep the factory paint and colour for the most part of the car, and plus its very suited to the car and body i think
  13. yeah i cant wait! will do cheers joe i guess they dont have much use for performance utes in japan? do it!
  14. sorry mate, these covers were organized between myself and AM Performance for custom group buy only there has been a few issues this time around (mainly postage, there were postage time issues last time around aswell which obviously wasnt sorted out on their end, which is no good) , they will have to be resolved if there is to be a 3rd thats for sure! did it arrive mate? PM sent, will get this resolved
  15. yeah mate it would look kinda silly without a FMIC filling out the front, should be good cheers man im only changing the front end because i want to be more like you hehe its very interesting thats for sure.. but not for me ill stick to the sunroofs excuse aswell! hahaha
  16. great to hear that your happy with it mate its a great product yeah definantly be careful with the polished covers, as with any polished product they defect/scratch easy! i was actually thinking this.. getting all the covers sent to me in bulk so i can distribute them myself.. i will have to talk to AM Performance about this as there has been a bit of interest in a 3rd group buy.. i just dont want any extended delays for buyers makes me feel on edge, although the package will arrive i just dont like them being late
  17. i guess its hard to not stand out with a massive yellow wagon me too! its been a long time in the making cheers mate thanks buddy i have been around Australia and i promise to help working families, provide a education revolution, state of the art broadband netwo.... etc etc etc you never get your cash back with cars but it will look good!! haha
  18. will keep this topic updated for sure not sure what the final cost will be yet.. it hasnt been cheap thats for sure! alot of the decision has been inspired from Darrin - also many thanks for all the time he spent giving me info i think the main difference between mine and Darrin’s conversion is that i will be keeping the standard radiator support.. should be interesting to see how it turns out!! hahaha NY taxi i wont miss that.. the car has gone through a few stage's.. in japan in australia and today ..or similar also, i have had the Tekero's side skirts repaired and modified to match up to the R34 front, aswell as repairing the Takero's rear bar which wasn’t in a good way.. should look great when its all complete
  19. hey everyone my R34 GTR front end and body restoration officially got under way today all the work is getting done at Custom Carbon Components in Sydney :-) (Big thanks to Andrew at CCubed ) should take around 2 weeks, just made this topic to post up the progress and pictures over this period
  20. last word i got on the powder coated covers (late last night) was that they haven’t yet received a call from the powder coaters to say they were complete, but they were due today(latest) so ill shoot a email to AM performance to see what the deal is ill see if i can get the powder coated covers posted express because this long isn’t acceptable
  21. ah fantastic glad to hear that they are finally arriving hope you like it mate! feedback added
  22. im keen to see if they have arrived yet aswell.. if not, did anyone check the rego number with the post office?
  23. i havnt really had any bad experiences with Aus Post, which is why this is so confusing cant believe it has taken this long i would love to mate but i havnt recieved a picture yet hopefully tomorrow or over the weekend
  24. i requested some confirmation of postage, so he sent through the codes for each package, recommended to check with your post office if it hasnt arrived by tomorrow all packages were sent via registered australia post its very strange but it seems like its just a matter of waiting
  25. far out i cant apologize enough guys, they are certain that they sent the covers out on Monday but i can’t understand why they are taking so long! Powder coated covers should be sent tomorrow/monday, so hopefully postage wont take as long as this, from my point of view its not acceptable :-|
