Whats everyones thoughts on getting the roof done? Ive had it suggested that i do the roof first over the boot... Im not sure if that seems right.. Thanks

Depends if ur car is in the shade or sun?? Check the individual temperatures of the sensors... Whilst in "Diagnostics Mode" push "HOT" untill "5" appears on the display... Then Push "AMB" once to display the 'outside air temp' twice to display the inside air temp three times to display the suction temperature 4 times to disaplay the refigeration temperature See if the temperatures given for each sensor seem logical ?? Ie. Mine said the outside air temp was -5 degrees.. (which was obviously incorrect) And had a faulty "air intake sensor".......Beacuse the air-con system thought the air was so so so cold outside, it would stop cooling after some time....(Just like urs). You can pull apart the dash etc, find the sensor... put it on a multi meter etc, see if its workin if u like, if thats the problem replace it... Or if ur lazy like me take it in to an autoelectrician...(Tho, id see if there are any caryards in your state that deal with imports, and see if they reccommend any autoelectricians. (Normally these places are more experienced in imports)

Randy, I dont believe that the sensor with the grill on the dash, near the antenna controll is the air intake sensor.. Thats the "inside air sensor". (i may be wrong) Not too sure where it is exactly tho... I took mine to an autoelectrician... 2 actually... The 1st one couldnt find the problem, the 2nd had a fair bit experience with imports and their air systems. Got recommended to the place by an importer... Paid $240 tho..... But then again....ur problem may be different....(just saying it has the same symptons) Have u run a diagnostics ???? What that say?

Thanks to several PM's Have found only 2 places in adelaide that deal with such an issue... Both specailse and only do wheel and rim repairs, I Have ROH 'Drift R's' rang ROH and asked if they can or do such repairs, and/or who the reccommend One place tried talking me out of it sayin how its too hard because of the rounded finnish, ie the edge isnt flat it contours in towards the centre... The second place explained it all, said yep no worries.. Gunna cost $165 per rim tho.... but it'll be guarenteed back to new with noone none the wiser One would assume there'd be similar places interesate... I found these under Wheels/Rims in the Yellow Pages Cheers

Mine was doin the exact same thing!! I had a faulty 'air intake sensor' Id recommend doing a diagnostics check, see what that comes up with... In my circumstance, it said all sensors fine....However it displayed a reading of -5 degrees on the air intake sensor... Now obviously the air goin in isnt that cold.. Id put my money on that, as ur symptons are identical to what i had...

I have several scratches on some of my 'Rims' carelessly caused by the gutter!! Is there any company who can remove these? or somehow file it back, sand, polish...to make it look better than what it is?? Ive heard of this before, but not too sure if such a thing can be done.. PS..Im in Adelaide.. Cheers

Yeh True Dealerships didnt know a thing... LoL I Finally managed to find one, at a imports caryard... I was gunna ask them to see if they can find one overseas, but as luck had it, they removed them from a car they were selling, and was available to me... Cheers for the Replys n PM's CLOSED

Anyone Seen a Light Like this Around ??

Im after a LHS combination driving/spot light. Its a Bosch Light, ive spoken to both bosch and motor traders who have no idea what im talking about.. Alot of wreckers too have never seen anything like it Im not too sure on the model # etc as there are so many... Tho from L to R in the middle of the lens is 34521 R13 34521 R7 34521 R8 and on the bottom of the lens L to R is SAE F88 LE3003 1305 621 041 Its a large light apporx 30cm long and 8cm high Attatched are some pictures of the paticular bumper and the light!! Does anyone have one, or know of where i can find this light???

Ive been having some ongoing trouble with the Climate Control. Ive had a few dry joints fixed on the Air mix door motor which was playin up. But Now All works perfectly..Upon doing the diagnostics, it comes up AOK. However after about 20mins driving with the aircon on, it'll turn off and only blow out normal cold air, not the chilled refrigeration aircon air... Eventually it'll come back on, but then again turn off when it fills like it In the mean time air still comes thru, just not the chilled aircon air. Its been to the autoelec a few times, they cant find anything wrong with it, no dry joints, no loose wires etc. Ive even bought a new (secondhand) autoamplifier (the conrtoll unit itsself) and still no luck.. What i find ammusing is that the autoelectrictian, believes my stereo headunit is somehow effecting it, putting out some frequency that interferres or something. They say it works fine all pulled out, but when my headunit is re-installed is when the trouble starts. They want to install a seperate switch, relays n thermostates to force the aircon to stay on... However im hopeing someone may have another insite.... any Advice??
