Well Precision Turbo rate their Ball Bearing high flow at 500hp... some of Rigoli's RB25's with stock internals have neared the 280rw/kw with this highflow... ill be going to Precision on friday and have a chat to the boys... the ONLY reason im not going for a sliding performance turbo is cause its not ball bearing and 100% of tuners have said to stick with BB turbos... No he didnt say 3hrs, he told be he could do it for $200 but would rather someone else to do it... he specilises in ECU installs and tune... Yea but the PFC is hard to come by these days... EMS or Haltech ECU comes with slightly more options as well as no need for an AFM... Ill be visiting a few workshops in early Jan and see what they recommend... I have the Injectors, Fuel Pump and FMIC sorted just need to decide on turbo and ECU... hopfully will see 260+rw/kw Have a great New Years Eve guys... Keep Safe Regards, Sarkis

Nengun dont sell the PFC for the R33 GTSt anymore... they have been discontinued The Wolf V500 retails for $1,895.00 excluding harnes and tune Wouldn't the Haltech be a better choice at that price?

Can you find me a new PFC with h/c for $1000? and Z32 for $200? the quote i got: PFC: $1200 (new) Tune: $500 AFM: $350 (new) One workshop quoted me $1000 but ex h/c If you can please let me know and ill buy it today... Any feedback on the EMS? they seem to be good Cheers

Hey guys, i know the ECU debate has been discussed over and over and an ECU will only be as good as the tuner, however i have not found any info on the EMS 8860 in regards to the R33 RB25DET. Here are my options with some prices that my tuner has advised (order of preference) Haltech E11v2 - $2800 (supplied, fitted & tuned) EMS 8860 - $2200 (supplied, fitted & tuned) EMS Stinger 4 - $1800 (supplied, fitted & tuned) Apexi PFC - $1700 + $350 Z32 AFM = $2050 (supplied, fitted & tuned) Any info or comments will be appreciated Regards, Sarkis

I have never changed injectors before so i wouldn't know where to start... since ill be using a Nismo pump and injectors, if i cand get my hands on a PFC i can take my time and do it all at home and then adjust the injectors so i can drive it there... ill see how i go... cant find a PFC anywhere... Yea might just do that.. however the tuner wants $200 to fit the injectors Im still tossing up between PFC (cant find them under $1200) or a Haltech (recommended by my tuner) he also tunes PFC but he cant get them anymore... Cheers

Hey guys, as we all know with performance upgrades comes dilemmas! My mechanic will be fitting the 550cc injectors, highflow turbo, nismo fuel pump and FMIC. However my tuner is 20min drive away and need to get the car to him to fit and tune the ECU. Will my car fire up and be “drivable” for about 20kms with the factory ECU? Regards, Sarkis

Depending on application, you wont need a FPR... if you have a decent fuel pump, 550cc injectors and tuned ECU you can produce upto 300rw/kw with the stock FPR from what i have seen... P.S Gorgeous looking R33 Regards, Sarkis

I was speaking to a tuner (Adam) at JEM and he advised me to stay away from nismo injectors as they are hard to fine tune and was also told by BEL Garage to stay away from them too... What are your thoughts guys?

Yes i know that Bernard however, as an everyday driver your car see's more traffic lights then it does christmas tree's (lights at the drag strip) and if he was going to build a car just for the track, then an RB26/30 settup with powerglide box and 3500 stall, stripped interior .etc. will bring him in the 9 sec bracket... however this isnt the case... as for streetable performance, and $6000 to spend... a GTST can go a long way and yet maintain drivability as well as a MUCH cheaper insurance premium than the GTR.. To sell a '96 Skyline and to pay $6000 on top to buy an '89 Skyline really seems bit of a backward step IMHO.. although its a GTR (approx 180aw/kw stock) , you still gonna spend $5000 on exhaust, ECU, Tune .etc. to get it to the same power level as it would if he spent $6000 on his GTST... With a highflow turbo, ECU, Tune, Injectors, EBC and Cams... RB25DET's have seen pushing 250+rw/kw The way i look at it, how would the owner of a stockish R32/R33 GTR, RX7, Supra or STI feel if a stock looking GTST smashed him off the lights?
