  1. The tape will shrink after a while... the only repair solution is the Industrial Grade Silicone... it has been way over 6 months since i have done my coil packs and (knock on wood) there is no misfire to be seen..
  2. Nup sorry dude... wrong Sarkis I don't think my diff is stuffed, its just feels more like a loose tailshaft...
  3. Hey fellas, lately i have noticed i get a slight intermittent 'clunk' in the rear end of my car when taking my foot off the throttle when the revs are constant... I have NEVER dumped the clutch or done burnouts... i do occasionally take off bit hard off the lights for a run but that’s bout all... Could something be loose? What should I look out for? Is my Diff/tailshaft on the way? Another question... what is the difference between 1 way, 1.5 way and 2 way LSD diffs? Regards, Sarkis
  4. Please Guys, ask around if anyone you know who owns a skyline that might have an old R33 cluster laying around! Cheers!
  5. Are there any other symptoms such as Smoke? Backfiring? Etc Take it to a good mechanic and let him test the following: 1. Cylinder compression 2. Injector pulse 3. Coil pack harness It’s a process of elimination from the smallest cause of the problem to the biggest… could be something real small causing this issue so don’t stress just yet… Keep us posted Regards, Sarkis
  6. Hey guys, I'm after the clip that fits the base of the tacho needle on an R33 instrument cluster. Mine got damaged when fitting the EL Dials, and the guy who installed them isn't taking responsibility... If you got one laying around and can spare it I would truly appreciate your help! Here is a pic of what I need... Please PM me Regards, Sarkis
  7. Well my stock as a rock R33 pushed 144rw/kw then pushed 165rw/kw after a full turbo back 3" exhaust and considering i had bad misfiring coils and 95RON fuel on a 28 deg afternoon... I should be looking closer to the 170 - 175rw/kw now with the new coils, 98RON fuel and on a 10 deg morning... But thats a very nice result Quinny... Regards, Sarkis
  8. PROBLEM FIXED!!! I got my mechanic to swap the Bendix Ultimates with Bendix General CT and squealing is gone! been driving it for 1 week now and she is purrrfect...
  9. Thanks for your advice guys... I will be chasing 250 - 300rw/kw in the future but for now she is at 175rw/kw... Just love that induction noise but POD's and open airfilters are illegal...
  10. Common guys, please help me out... just want the best possible CAI while keeping the stock look...
  11. Hey fellas, just a quick question... i want to get my R33 breathing better but unfortunately the R33 stock air box is limited to modifying. Will an R32 stock air box bolt up in an R33? reason being is that the R32 AFM sucks from the lid of the air box allowing the bottom end to be modified where as on the R33 it sucks from the bottom making it unmodifiable... I don’t want to run a POD... I want it to look as stock as possible after that RBT unit checked my car last week... too risky.. Any suggestions? Regards Sarkis
  12. Might not be sold... should get confirmation tonight so if anyone wants this bargain PM me asap Cheers
  13. SOLD! Pending payment confirmation...
  14. I already made a thread about the same topic... my Bendix Ultimates work like a charm but ONLY my front driver side one Squeals under light/med braking... all 4 disc's were machined and fitted with Bendix Ultimates... Hard braking usually shuts it up for a few min till it gets cold again... Any suggestions? On another note... Babylon, was that you I ran on Cowpasture Rd a month or so back? Cheers
  15. Thanks Sinista... i wish i could of kept it on my car but unfortunatly the FMIC cross over pipe had the HKS welded to it... so i cant use it. At this price its too good to miss! Cheers
  16. FOR SALE Product: Genuine Go Fast Bits Hybrid BOV with Adaptor to fit R33 + Ill include the plumb back hose. Reason for Sale: I bought a FMIC crossover pipe that had a HKS SSQ BOV welded to it therefore I dont need this BOV anymore. Condition: Excellent - As New (few very light scratches) Location: Sydney GFB Hybrid system features two venting outlets, one is a recirculation outlet and the other dumps to atmosphere. This system means that about 50% of the air is recirculated, resulting in an audible but slightly more subdued blow-off noise. It also means that Nissan's sensitive airflow meters can use this valve and make a great blow-off sound without backfiring or ECU error codes. Hear Sound: (from GFB website) GFB_BOV.wav GFB: $350.00 RRP (excluding Adaptor) * Auto Joy: $329.00 (excluding Adaptor) * Unique Auto Sports: $319.00 (excluding Adaptor) Price: $180.00 Firm (Including Adaptor and plumb back hose) + Postage Please PM if Intrested
  17. So is there any way of eliminating the noise? its real embarrassing lol
  18. Hey guys, another annoying thing... i just got all 4 discs machined and fitted brand new Bendix Ultimate pads all round... its pulling up perfectly now and I love the feel of the breaks... but the front drivers side squeals under medium braking... its so annoying! Even before i changed them it never ever squealed! I tried light breaking under throttle hoping to eliminate any debris but it stops for a while then comes back when the pads cool down… I know most of you will say Bendix are crap but i have never had any issues with them in the past.. the spare parts guy recommended Lucas Brake Pads... but i stuck to the Bendix Any suggestions? Regards, Sarkis
  19. i cant rotate my tyres... front tyres: 18 x 8 245's rear tyres: 18 x 10 265's... im going to try and find a local whiteline dealer
  20. what do you mean by Excessive toe? im pretty sure its the camber cause both back wheels squat inwards eve at rest... What are the whiteline control arms worth?
  21. Hey fellas, as i had my car on the hoist the other day i noticed i had pretty bad camber wear on the inside of my back tyres.. And considering the prices for 18 x 10 265's are not cheap! I called Pedders and the quoted me $190 per Camber arm + fitting... a total of $530! it was a joke honestly... I love the way it sits but it will cost me too much on the long run with having to change tyres every 6 - 12 months Can anyone please recommend what else i can do to get my camber problem fixed? Regards, Sarkis
  22. Hahaha it doesnt look too bad Craved... im not comparing it to a custom K&N or ARC CAI but it a neat looking DIY CAI...
  23. Yea but if you get a hard plastic container it wont get sucked in... it looks professional like this...
