Hey all, I have the stock TV/CD/Sat Nav system which is playing up. I use it to play CD's and I think she is packing it in. Sometimes the screen will not come up, then 15mins later, it beeps and POPs up, when it does come up and plays CD's after a while the screen freezes and music stops. Turn car off it goes back down but then will not come up again Could this be a loose connection or a fuse? Where is the best place to start looking? Cheers, Daz

Thanks I am trying locate these parts as I have dealt with this BS before (non import) I already have the insurance companies customer service ombudsman contact details as a 3-4+ week wait for panel damage is not acceptable. All I want is to find the parts - tee up the panel beaters with the wreckers.

Hello, A work ute took on my R34 when they changed lanes without looking (Nice to know I pay high insurance and I am the one that knows the basics of lane changing) I am in a pickle as I can not find the parts needed to fix my only means of transport. The panel beaters cant seem to locate the following either, can you help? Right side quarter panel Right side indicator (small one) Right side mirror I have called A1 wrecking & cresta and they dont have any parts available. Anyone know another place in Brisbane or goldcoast??

Legends, both of you! I want to make sure that my issues is related to the Ignition coils...what issues did you guys have? At low revs the engine 'pules' and almost splutters (Mainly at a stop) Also, could I install these myself? Any hints will help, just don't want to replace them and turns out they are fine (All signs point to yes I think) Cheers again!

Back again... Thanks for pointing me in the right direction re:coild pack discussions (Know a lot more now!) I was wondering if there is a coil pack that is compatible with a R34? If yes or no, is a second hand option worth it, is there a way to test this part for cracks? Have only been able to find a spitfire coil pack = $895.00+del. The other option I face is a $5 Epoxy Solution...not sure if it worth the effort if it props up again. thanks again guys

Hello again, This is a cont. /update from my last thread 'stalled engine' It seems the shudder at low revs is due to the coil pack heading towards RIP. (R34 - '98 NA) Quote for this is $800 or $450 2nd hand. 1st - Is the above quote right? 2nd - If this is left to long could it cause other damage/failure 3rd - Is it something that can be done DIY, and if so any hints/links & where to buy R34 coil pack in Brisbane? 4th - Best place to get it done if the above is not posible? Thanks! It was a gimmie that I was takening it back, just didnt want them to pull my pants down about it. There was a conection that goes to the top right hand side of the engie block that wasnt in fully, that has fixed the stalling problem as well as the aircon noise. New problem now! (Yes still taking it back - AGAIN!) Every time I stop, a huge vibration/pulse shakes the engine and teh whole car, revs dont drop, it is almost like the engine is throbbing, it aslo occurs on occasion when driving at low speed but mainly at the lights. An another note, I used to get arroubd 450+ k's out of a tank, since this service (Ingector rails cleaned, throttle body clean, Iridium s/plugs, oil fluch ECT...) Fuel consumption is 350k's WTF?? It is going back but wanted a second option as I dont like being a boomerang! Any advise/opions? Thanks Guys Daz

Hello, I have just got my 34 back from its first major service since I picked it up($800!) When I start the engine, the revs go to 1000 and then drops and stalls, all this in about 1 sec. It is an Auto (Tiptronic) I also have aircon issues which I think is the compressor. the stalling happens with the aircon on and off so I dont think it is related.

Currently it is stock, Just got complinced. I am planning to take it in for a service (only done 2K) It seems to have gone(??) but would suspect it will return. At high rev's it seems fine, just has a very slight lag at 4-5K in 3rd

At last!...I have my R34!! :lol: I also have a 'shudder' when I am at a set of lights...This happens on occasions but seems to be more frequent over the past few days. The Rev's dip a bit when it happens and seems very random, usually happens in traffic....If I add a bit of juice, it seems to go away... I have seen another topic relating to a R33 which suggested tightening the engine mounts as a resolutions??
