People like to judge things by their previous experience... and I am fairly certain that there is no way an HSV would come close to performance, handling and bang for buck that of an R35 GTR. Then again the only people who will buy the limited edition W427 will be HSV fans with big wallets.

But then if Ford and Holden follow Toyota and build economical cars, they will still make cars that: 1. Have crap build quality 2. Unreliable 3. Way over priced Only to think that I LOVED Holden ages ago prior getting a ride in a Nissan... lol Never looked back since.

Didnt they just let go 500 staff? Toyota is the best car manufacturing company bar none! They keep up with the times. Holden and Ford just continue building family cars as if every bloke that buys one is a Sheik from Saudi Arabia with the fat wallet to match!

Bottom less money pit if you know jack shit about skylines. If you need to ask how much, you probably will struggle, given that petrol will be $2 bucks by the end of the year. So make sure you have plenty of dosh for support.. but my Skyline was 12 years and VERY reliable, I paid good money for her though. I sold my R33 GTST and now about to buy a Corolla.
