I had an R33 S2 GTST and it was a great car, but I prefer the looks of R34 and R34s also have 206 KW instead of 187 KW. In fact after selling my R33 nearly 3 years ago, im thinking of buying an R34 soon as a weekend car.

Hey guys, Im thinking of buying one of those for my weekend "fun" car. I know that Z is much newer and probably more reliable in sense that its Aus delivered and usually untracked. Some things that I will/wont do: Will not wonna mod it (just want a stock quickish car) Will go for weekend drives as I have a corolla as a daily car Ive never driven a Z before but have been in a few R34 GTTs... how do they compare when driven? Handling and acceleration wise? If there is a child forum on here for Zs, please show me. Thanks

You are telling tales about the data and trapster. I have only 500 MB a month on my iphone through TPG and if you use it daily then at most you will download about 10 MB a day. It does drain the battery quickly though so you should have a car charger. Besides you should have 'consume apps" that show you how much data you have used up. I drive with both my tom tom and now trapster on my iphone 4 and trapster is much more accurate regarding fixed cameras too.

Anyone using Trapster app on their iphone? it seems pretty good at showing you where speed cameras are.

Hi guys, Thought Id ask some opinions and advice on here regarding an incident last night. I was driving after 9 pm (already dark) on Calder freeway towards the city. It was the section just after where you get off Melton hwy (Taylors Lakes) and jump onto Calder fwy. I exited the ramp and jumped onto Calder fwy. I am pretty sure its still 100 KM/h zone there and then 2 or 3 KMs down the fwy it becomes an 80 KM zone. Now I was doing about 115-17 KMs when about 100 meters ahead of me I spotted a marked cop car parked in the middle, between left and right lanes, in the bushes section of the road (there are trees and lots of grass there). The cop car was parked on an angle like this: \. As soon as I saw the cop car, I slowed right down to 80 KM/h, so when I actually crossed the position of the cop car I was doing 80. I was in the far right lane and the cop car's left hand side, on an angle was facing my lane, so in order for them to shine the radar at me, it would have been pretty awkward. I did not see any camera flashes and the left front passenger window was up in the cop car. I am wondering about a couple of things: 1. If the zone was 80 KMs/h and I was doing 115, that's 35 KM/h over the limit, would they have chased me? As I understand that would be hooning according to new laws. 2. When cops use mobile speed cameras like in the situation above, do they monitor BOTH left and right lanes or do they only watch the lane where the driver's right hand side is facing? I mean if the cops were monitoring the left side of the road with a radar, they would have a stiff neck as it would be very uncomfortable for them to keep shining the camera to the left. Unless off course they just simply put down fixed mobile cameras that do the work them. I am a bit paranoid if I got done doing 117 in an 80 zone... I can take the 117 in a 100 zone... Any advice from previous experience? Ive been always good, got all my 12 points and haven't had a speeding fine since I can remember. Ive uploaded a diagram also. Cheers

Got hailed down in North West... probably copped about 5 minutes worth of hail, pretty big chunks, marble sized and pea sized... but lucky I got no damage. I drove slowly around 25 KM/h also because the roads were iced.

Thats the problem with keeping small pets. I used to have ratties and they are awesome pets too... its tragic that they live only for 2-3 years max usually. PS my ex GF had a pet rabbit and the poor thing contracted that deadly virus where the face literally falls off... she had to put him down at a vet... was absolutely devastating for us.

Im not discussing who is rich and who isnt, Im merely giving you examples of how an everyday Joe Blow can go all the way and achieve what seems 'impossible'.
