  1. I dont care what I sound like buddy. Like I said, some work smarter, others work harder. As an example, last financial year I shelled out over $4000 to the ATO because I was lazy and didnt bother keeping receipts or writing things off on tax. This year ATO gave me over 100 bucks back even though I made the same amount of money through personal sales... just an example. No one is dodging anything. Tax breaks? Bring them on, its again people like you who will have to pay more in taxes, the pensioners and the jobless need support and its guys like you who pay their way mostly. Your skyline can have 1000 BHP, its still a skyline. Yes, family, friends pets and health are very important to one's happiness but there are other things that can make life much sweeter... Stuff like not having to get up and go to work everyday just to pay for rent/mortgage, bills and food. And going on holidays when you want to while your cash flow is still coming in without you being at the office or behind the counter. This may be hard for you to fathom, but you can make money passively.
  2. Corolla FTW
  3. Mark, Sorry to hear about your rabbit, they are cute little things. As far as money doesn't make you happy. I can argue that till cows come home. Money brings safety, security and comfort. Lack of money brings poverty, fear, bad health, bad education, crime and famine.
  4. I love how everyday people think with poor mentality. When they see other people who own more than one house or drive something better than their 15 yo Skyline, they automatically think... "greedy rich pricks". Sure some were silver spoon fed, but many others busted their balls, took calculated risks and had bigger dreams and goals. Regular people just dont see how they can make the tax office work for them or how they can leverage and achieve more with less. Its working smarter, not harder or longer hours that makes you wealthy. Its very easy to get up, got to work, pay your bills, get up, got to work, pay your bills, get up, got to work, pay your bills. Buy a car on credit, buy a sofa, new TV and everything else on credit, then spend the next 40 years paying it off. Screw that lifestyle.
  5. You've already failed before you even got started.
  6. This is exactly why less than 99% of people control more than 95% of all the money. You make your own choices in life and if being a slave to money appeals to you, then keep doing what you are doing. You can always admire the exotics from a far... unless you win the lottery.
  7. Opinions... every one has one.
  8. 360 dated? Im sorry but the R35 GTR is an ugly monstrosity compared to the 360 modena.
  9. I dunno, thats the overall opinion over the F car forums. Ive never owned any so cant comment directly, but the gist is, the 360 is newer and better built than the older F355. I much prefer the styling of the 360, as its one the sexiest F cars Ive ever seen IMO.
  10. Do you know that an F355 is MUCH harder to maintain than an F360? In fact, you can do most of the work yourself on an F360, whereas with the F355 you almost always need to chuck in a whole heap of money just to keep it in working order given that they are much older than a 360 now. Reading what F car owners say about 360 and 355, 360 is a much better pick of the two. Then again if you are buying an F car, you must ensure that you have enough funds to look after it when things break. So if you buy the car for $200 and you have nothing left over to fix it up, then that is silly.
  11. If I had an F car, the last thing I would tell some chick I met that I drive one, in fact I would never speak of it or mention, why bait the wrong type of women with the wrong type of bait? Then again, I guess it could work for one night stands...
  12. Yeah you can lease it based on your assets, Im not an accountant but with enough assets (Real estate property) you can write it off quiet well as a company expense .
  13. Well its his money and his choice. I prefer F cars
  14. Yes he is on a salary, but he also has properties in QLD and VIC... therefore he invests in RE. Sharemarket is much more risky, for ex: marginal lending. Zero cost financing with RE investing is much more appealing... I have an index fund, but thats for my retirement, not to make me money right now. Hence why I am getting into RE investing asap since I have already got my primary place of residence (a house).
  15. Actually from my experience and from what others have said, a Ferrari will attract more MEN and young boys than women. Women are not really cluey about which car is which unless she is a car nut.
  16. Two Porsches are nice... but a an F car, either a 360 Modena or an F430 would be even nicer. Guys who are asking what he does for living... its called investing and waiting for it to grow. You will not get to buy 1 let alone two Porsches by working 9-5.30 at your accountant or IT helpdesk job or any other job that pays less than 100 K PA. There are really 3 ways to make the big bucks: 1. Real estate investing. 2. Share market (more risky and less profitable in short and long run) 3. Your own business There are others, but these are the main ones. If you get up and go to work Mon-Fri or even Sat and Sunday to chase a mediocre salary, you will never own more than an aging Skyline and have a 30 yo mortgage on an average suburbian house 40 mins out of the CBD. Its your choice.
  17. Also, never buy toys on credit. Put down cold harsh cash on cars!
  18. Ferrari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Hit the gym... and lay off the junk food.
  20. bwhahahahhaha classic!
  21. Go for R35...
  22. GTR will be twice more expensive than a GTT. So watch out. S15 are cheap to run and fuel... Im considering an s15 myself.
  23. Maybe I should just get a manual... my GF can always teach me hahaha :|
  24. Thanks bro. I prefer to buy in Melb though. I dunno maybe I should take a manual for a test drive and see how I go... Im not going to be driving it to work, mainly weekends and weeknights so traffic shouldnt be a problem... are manual Nissans fairly easy to drive?
  25. lol I really like the R33 auto skyline, had plenty of go... I dunno I guess if I can find the auto at the RIGHT price, then Ill go for it, if the people selling dont lower their price then I may opt for a manual and just bite the bullet and stop being lazy lol PS yes thats me on NS.
