  1. Exactly. The reason why I want R34 more over s15 is not cos of its looks (i think s15 looks pretty darn good) but for its practicality and size. Being 6'4 is not the best size for an s15...
  2. Mate spending money on travelling to awesome places is an experience you cant forget for a lifetime, the places you see, the people you meet etc. I dont know much about you but if you prefer to spend all your money on your car and never even leave your home country then you live a very dull and boring life... cars are fun and that but please dont brush of a great adventure holiday as a waste of money. As for the last paragraph I totally agree with you, you spend money on entertainment and your not gonna get anything back for it, just enjoyment! So lets just enjoy
  3. How much by though? In the end do you have to be generally well off to afford an R34?
  4. Two great cars, one is local (and imported) s15 and the other is imported only R34. Now I know r34 would drink slightly more petrol but overall, would s15 be much cheaper to run (parts, insurance) than R34 GT-T? Comments?
  5. You might say you have a problem if out of your pay packet you put aside 80% of it and spend the left over 20% on food, rent and going out haha. Well offcourse thats ok if you live at home but when you dont, it can become a problem...I get chicken feed atm (just a tad over 2 K a month) and I was putting aside around 1200-1300 on savings for the car (nissan 200sx s15)... I live pretty much alone, pay a bit of rent (my brother helps me out with the bulk of it) but I also pay all the bills. Its all fine and dandy until you start sacrificing food and other things, i mean i dont drink and dont smoke so im really proud of that but with food, you cant skip that! So now Im just gonna put away around 1 grand a month still but use all the left over money on food and other things, im getting into cooking again!
  6. Like some have said: VTs v6 commodores are one of the slowest newish commodores today. A V6 VN, VP, VR and VS are quicker than a V6 VT... VX actually too. Skylines are famous for turbos, commodores are famous for quick cheap family cars. NA Skyline is just that... "no acceleration" A V6 commodore will drill an NA Skyline. End of an argument.
