AsM replied to a topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
I have those on my friends V36 coupe at the moment which has same offsets as a sedan. They sit near flush compared to the OEM wheels these cars come with. -

I think no one with a 2008+ model of the sedan has ever had that kind of issue. -

[sa] Wtb - V36 Skyline Coupe 19" Wheels
AsM replied to a topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
are you after the v36 coupe 19's or the optional 19" rays that came with series 2/3 v35? If the later i got a set for sale, these are a better offset than factory wheels for the v36's http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/431177-qld-immaculate-skyline-v35-oem-19-inch-forged-rays-wheels/?hl=%2Bv35+%2Brays#entry7439792 cheers -

There is a good chance that your compliance workshop purposely listed your car as 5speed auto as most shops have emissions evidence to do them and very few have the 7speed as they had to be tested again after the earlier 5speed v36's. I know this as some shops in qld do this as the workshop that has the 7speed evidence have not sold it to other shops in qld. Obviously it is the wrong thing to do but if DOTARS don't question and cross check these cars get through compliance anyway Try this, goto manual mode on either gear shifter or using paddle shifts and see what gear you see when you doing 100km/h on the highway. This will tell you whether u got the 5speed (extremely unlikely) or the normal 7speed that the car is suppose to have. Also 2009 onwards even the coupes got the 7speed boxes and self healing paint as the new updates that year. -
Guessing most of these v36's are autos with stock ecu thus the 180km/h limit, can everyone chime in what gear was the dyno run done? im guessing that will affect these numbers for sure... For example to do a whole rpm band dyno run, they would have to be done in 3rd gear as it would cutoff at 180km/s in 4th before it redlines... just my thoughts

Ecutek Flash Tune Dyno Results
AsM replied to The Max's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
The best i got from my 6MT was around 12km/L and the worst has been 8km/L and i got intake, HFC, Y-pipe back exhaust, 20*10 wheels all round and Tony getting 6km/L seems a bit off as i have a heavy foot too and almost always rev out the first gear usually. You guys go on the reading on the on board computer or when you fill up again? i go on the later one as thats more accurate imo. On another note since i got a new intake few months ago (before having just drop in filters) i have noticed the car leaning out around 3000-3500 rpm(hesitating to rev) before if takes off again like some boost came on. Im guessing having this tune will fix the lean out wouldnt it? I got an HKS obd2 reader with my phone and the AFR learn is running +/- 20% (use to be around 5-8% before intakes). Any one have any information on this would be great. Thanks So if the answer is yes to getting a tune whats the better way to go UpRev or EcuTek -

^^probably cant compare the factory Bose to aftermarket systems you can get installed professionally but it is definitely a few notches up from the stock non-Bose cars imo -
hey guys Anyone buying one don't forget that our v35/v36 are ntsc video format compatible and if this device allows switching between pal/ntsc it would be perfect. I have already tried a few other similar products before but the ntsc part spoiled it for me. With this particular part i have been trying to search regarding video output but couldn't find a good answer yet if anyone knows please post here so i will buy one and try it out

AsM replied to BASHO's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
apparently the shuddering (Firmware) problems were mainly in the 2006 and early 2007 PV36 sedans and a friend has had a 2008 for ages now and none of those problems what so ever... -
