i may have joined the forum after you guys but that does not mean I was born 4 months ago....or that i have been using cars since of late.... I do not know all, but would be straight forward and as why it is done in a certain way if it sounds unnessary....am not going to jump on the band wagon and go okay, this guy has painted his car or he is a pro, so believe all that he says and agree... I said what my experience was, the reply to that was "Bullshit", so I asked him if he is a pro or has sprayed his own car. When he gave me a break down, it was not clear to me why he was using certain materials in excess quantity, which from my experiences, I thought was unnecessary. His reply to that was something about the body kit being sprayed. I have had many experiences with quotation break downs claiming unnessary quantities of materials, when actually they do not use the claimed amount but are just trying to rip u off......

a month ago my house mates hyundai excel was stolen when it was parked at the glen, n i saw how messed up he wuz....no matter what the car, boys luv their toys deeply....we checked out the area for a gud couple of days....luckly the cops caught him on monash fwy driving to work a week later....can u believe that...hes driving to work in a stolen car!!!!

your opinion can be expressed, thats the reasons for discussion forums existing, but please act civilised and stop asking people to shut up....and at what point did u get the impression that i wanted to get a paintjob done? cuz i got it done over a year ago n wuz jus sayin that the job was done well n for a bargain. n for your information i do not depend on this forum to get anything done, it is just a place to have a discussion and get insight into other peoples views and experiences. Please do not tell me what to do, cuz I do not believe u own this forum.

nope I get em painted, cant be stuffed painting my car just to save about 500 bucks <_< ....am not a pro, but i have sat through the whole process, cuz i want to see whats being done. do u have to be a pro to know the process as well as the costs involved????

if it works on n off, try switching the key position to off without the door being opened or your foot on the brake pedal, cuz sometimes these are set to bypass the turbo timer. That is in the event u dont want the turbo time to be running, you can jus open the door or have your foot on the pedal and switch the car off.... about the right size lock nuts, just go to any bob-jane t-mart, they seem to have everything....good thing is, if it doesnot fit they give a replacement then n there....i have been gettin all the work done from the oakleigh one.(corner of prin hwy and warrigal road).

any panel shop charges 1.5k to 2k for a respray in da same colour, for 2k you can generally get a complete strip n respray in a different colour... front bar modification n spray 300 + 150(for the respray) if ur talkin about the front quater panels to look like the gtr ones, then $400 for the pair + $150 to $250 for respray... these are general bargains that i have come across in my experience
