just a heads up. i little while ago i cleaned my acc with the above method and worked well. Sometime later i started to have idle problems at random times, good for one day bad for another. while i was changing my injectors i was trying to remove the acc idle valve bottem rubber hoses, and the hole metal peace which they attach to came away from the acc valve. this might have happend when i was using to much force to get the hoses off when i did the clean. i had to remove the acc valve and glue the pipe fitting back in. (its only a press fitting) the pipe fitting might have been just sitting there which was causeing the bad idle from time to time when the engine moved. just thought it pays to be aware..

Im thinking of adapting the rb25 oil squirters to the rb30 block. Im just asking if anyone had any pics, of a rb25 block with the oil squirters removed showing the whole location. (I have looked at Cubes guide). Or do u think I’m wasting my time trying to make them fit or is it just impossible.

rb30, u will probably find it will cost u the same(bottem end), and less money spent later to get the required power. keep in mind the little extra head work required and even eng managment to get it running. this will be posably what could set u back

Just found out somthing you guys might be interested to know. i was doing some work at NGK melbourne, the other week and i was shocked to see that the life of the iridiums and platinum rated at 100,000km (as we all know) but the iridiums IX is only rated for 60,000km. just somthing to take note, as most of us push ours cars on a day to day basis.

im interested in some, just a direct fit into a Rb25det and for my application i will probably only need 470cc to 550cc(not fussy) as long as the FC can handel it.

dont think u will want my one as it is a factory one with a crack in it, i prefer an other factory one with out a crack

i need the pipe pipe which has the blow off valve on it, but i dont need it with the blow of valve. my pipe is cracked.......to much boost (hehehe)

yea i have tryed the tacho wire output from the ecu put it dosent work for me.

where or which wire do you guys use to connect up an extra tacho, do you use the tacho wire from the ecu or do u use another one, because the wire from the ecu dosent seam to work for me i have done some searchs, and i have not found anything that will tell me which wire i need to use or were to look for it,

well i went looking for that wire, but i didnt have any success. i found 2 wires that were looped out of the loom there, but one is a ground wire, and the other one dosent seam to be it. i have gone around other sites looking for the answer, but i cant seam to find what i am looking for. can some one plz, help us with this

i need a place in melbourne which can supply me with a 3" dump pipe, for a r33. i know alot of people who can make then, but i really cant take the one off my car at the moment. i need a place where i can buy it off the shelf, or do u think it is better to get it from the guy in sydney and send it down.

i have just put in a rb25det into my VL commodore but with my engine package i got a Power FC, but the problem is that i need a stock r33 rb25det computer, just to borrow for a week so that i can get the car engineered. im in melbourne,

when i got my motor from the importer he had a apexi power fc for me which came with the motor, which i was pritty happy with. but the thing is that i only have the computer and the engine loom. what i am after is the software and a cable so i can plug it into my laptop, for easyer tuning then the hand controler. but i cant seam to find a place that sells the cable and software.where can i get from? or if someone can get me a copy of the software on cd. also were is a good place to get it tunned, in melbourne (RB25DET)

im looking for a importer in melbourne who will stock half cuts, i need a r33 half cut. were do i start, and who is not gona rip me off

i just picked up a Z32 AFM for really cheap, thinking that i might use it one day, but i dont plan to buy a Power FC or a new ECU. but i was looking at getting a S-AFC, so my question is if i have a S-AFC, will i be able to use the Z32 AFM on my RB25?

if u r worried about the fine metal, then u can always stick a strong magnet to the side of the oil fillter. i dont really like these types of mods, if thats what u want to call it. if u wana look after the motor u just need to change the oil and fillter every 5000 km, and also i like changing plugs, fuel and air fillters every 10000.

i would get a s-afc and a fmic 2nd hand. then u will have the benifits of the fmic, and the s-afc to control the fuel. only way i will be going for the power fc is if i have done all the required mods first. such as large fmic, 3'' ex, turbo upgrade, and i require a better fuel system. but i think that if i got that fair, i prob wont have my licence to drive it...

well i know the rb25 are in need of a larger turbo, but how much modificaion is required to fit the gtr twin turbo turbos no, which will still give u low rpm boost, but what i am not sure of is, what sort of psi are they capible of running on a rb25 efficently. also will the grt exhust manafold bolt up

well i am just about to revieve a rb25det and i am going to put it into my commodore. anyway i remember i sore once a table / list of which jap symbols represent what. eg: batt light : .......(symbol) fuel light : .......(symbol) if anyone can help me out, it will make my road to wheel spin alot eazyer. hehehe
