  3. nice pick up dude, looks pretty clean, much in the way of plans, or keep as is pretty much, apart from what you have said already.
  4. have a couple of parties on tomorrow night so myself and flick wont be there, have fun and be safe
  5. ill be rinigng on tuesday to make the booking so people check the first post and make sure your name is there if it needs to be, or if it is and you cant make it, also let me know. Ill book for a couple extra just incase anyway.
  6. i already have a big enough turbo, 600hp capable. All i need is my new injectors and im set for my goal power of 270rwkw, dont see myself needing more than that and should still be relatively safe amount of power for stock internals.
  7. anyone keen on organising bit of a drive for after the dinner? Doesnt have to be anything massive, just a nice casual one somewhere or a hills run if people feel like stretching the legs a little more.
  8. im using Corsa's, fairly hardy tyre, size is 235/45/17 stretched on a 9.5" rim. So no need for more power with 300kw? No worries, ill stop when i get there im only just over 200 at the moment.
  9. spotted a few tonight, 2 white 34's both with white wheels, about 30 seconds apart going down west tce about 10:30 tonight and then on walkleys rd a white 33 with chromies about 20 mins later.
  10. yeah richo, im no top 16 drifter yet, so youll have to look lower down for my name it is too much grip when the car wants to grip up around turn 1, not cool. Yeah jack rolled his old 180 last year shaun, during the left hand of the ess's, bounced over ripple strip and did a full roll and landed on his side, was not pretty too watch, i mounted that corner a few times when i was learning and its a rough one. See you all at Round 2!
  11. i would probly get in on this if you have enough people.
  12. i am also glad the cops were there, dont need the place turning into a speedway city burnout comp with bogans and drunks everywhere. They did their job, defected 2 cars the whole day which is f*k all considering what they could have done, and kept people inline. Very hapy to see their presence in the pits too, keep alcohol and other random shit that shouldnt be going on in the pits out. Have a read on the g1 threads on ns and you will see the cop with the moustache is now actually a registered member on there, he loves the sport and is actually wanting to help the drift community out, which is a first from a SAPOL member i reckon. Thanks for the kind words from all though, new rims and tyres were hard to come to grips with lol as i just had too much rear grip now, hopefully counteract that with some more power for round 2 and should be all sweet Oh and deluxe, my cop friend is a red head unless she changed hair colour but i dont think i was out of it that much to miss that.
  13. hey mods, do you reckon i can get this stickied? not doing much good back on the 2nd page. Cheers.
  14. no worries, thanks heaps mate. Now to try and get my new water temp gauge fitted by tomorrow while working 9-5:30, should be an effort lol.
  15. hey shaun, know you probly havnt had a chance but will ask anyway, any luck with those tie down straps you mentioned about at the dyno day? Thanks for the tip simon, turn 2 has been a killer for me since i started drifting, very rarely nail it. Lets hope saturday is a different story.
  16. make sure you get a decent alarm for it too, and yeah get rid of that CA
  17. considering ill be leaving for the track at 8:30, i think myself, flick and lukey (The Boat or HMAS on here, one of them lol) i think we will be by ourselves, lot of people tend to meet at the caltex along pt wakefield rd and go up from there.
  18. haha careful matty, that car is now parked within public access, dont wanna get down again lend me your water temp gauge for the day otherwise, anyone point me in the direction of where to pick up a good quality water temp gauge by tomorrow night?
  19. so very good then, considering they do everything for me with tyres lol kye, i am the former spin king, think matty took over on that one when he started going out hopefully now with the wider rims and tyres on the rear, ill be able to get that rear grip ive been lacking to nail turn 2.... will wait and see.
  20. sorry to take the thread offtopic, but just found out christian isnt gonna be there, if your talking about pickering that is, he scored himself a drive in the drift demos at the F1.
  21. cool, you can come watch me suck and watch simon rip it up lol.
  22. oi luke, wheres the support for the local SAU people sliding jokes. Simon or Lleyton are my picks to take out the day.
  23. yeah come on guys, dont be soft, if we can drive in this heat, you can sit and watch, awesome spot to sit is under the grandstands, still an ok view and keeps you out of the sun. And for the soft ones, come up as simon said, around 5ish and you will still catch the best guys out there and the team drift. Here is the event schedule for those interested.
