  1. I have a used PFC and hand controller for sale to suit 32/33 gtr. I bought it off a member in the forums but I have not used it mysef yet. But in good condition. $850 delivered PRICE DROP $750 GONESKI! SORRY FELLAS
  2. Really? I thought the sticker was part of the car when it was built from the factory? My old GTR had a similar sticker too.
  3. I just opened my bonnet and checked the sticker under the bonnet with the engine running specs, when to change oil, air filters, etc and it said my base timing should be 15 degrees at idle. mines at 20 degrees, should it be put back to standard? Also why is it that most people say its 20 degrees? its a 97 gtr
  4. So you are saying that what i see with the computer saying 20 degrees may NOT necessarily be what it is set at the CAS until i check with a timing light to confirm? I read somewhere that a power fc for example may show 15 degrees but the CAS is not?
  5. Hey guys I got a couple of questions about ignition timing I have been told that standard ignition timing on a GTR is 20 degrees. Can someone explain to me: 1) What a timing light is or what that looks like?? 2) When you plug a consult into the stock ECU to check ignition timing does that mean what is set at the CAS is what it will show on the consult screen plugged into the ECU? Or is the only real way to see what ignition timing is sat at the crank by using a timing light? Because looking at the consult it shows 20 degrees BTDC. Thanks
  6. Hey mate, These are sold and pending payment/pickup. But if it falls through I will elt u know
  7. Recently in the colder temps i noticed it is happening more often like in the mornings and nights when its like 5 degrees or so. Warmer days seem to be ok asnd doesnt happen as much. Strange thing is, it doesnt do it when i thrash it, it seems to happen under low revs and low boost etc, low throttle. Sometimes I give it the fang up to 14psi and its fine still. I also disconnected the boost solenoid so it runs 7psi but still does it. So its not a high boost issue. Something to do with too much air flow, but why? grrr I have a PFC coming to im going to throw it on the dyno to see whats going on and hopefully fix it or at leats know what to fix.
  8. Yeah I mean i will be going to CRD and I know they have plenty of hand controllers. Im just wondering if it is wise to not have a commander say incase if something was wrong with it and i wouldnt know and couldnt make any adjustments.
  9. Very quick question Do u need a hand controller for a power fc? Or can you get away with just the pfc?
  10. As topic, i have cash and will pay reasonable price
  11. Hey Kai53y did u happen to be a chick and drive a black 34 gtt with a huge rear wing and happen to be in the traffic jam in newie today and happen to have a gtr behind u?
  12. No Thanks mate, im trying to get rid of mine!
  13. ANyone? The little restrictor that sits inside the tube with the yellow rign around it.
  14. As topic states does anyone have the little boost restrictor that sits inside the vaccum tube with the yellow band around it? I need one to test something. I will pay for it if u have a spare one. Cheers Phil
  15. i think its actually around 276litres per hour, and it has already been wired so its got more voltage i think so it can flow more. notice the loud buzzing
  16. Hmm not sure but i think at the back definetly but dunno about the front
  17. Hey guys Just want some opinions on whether or not i should get a Power FC for my GTR. I initially bought the car with "bone stock" in mind but again like before i think the mod bug has hit me again. But i dont wanna go crazy and spend too much. I am aiming for around 200rwkw with stock boost. I dont want to run anymore than standard boost but i want that sort of figure. Is this achievable with just a 3 inch exhaust from the front pipes back with metal cat and just a PFC and 10psi? Or is it still recommended that i get a boost controller? If this is possible i may go this way as less boost = more reliable Opnions? Thanks!
