Toasty replied to Toasty's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
i measured it up last night and its roughly +25 -
hey everyone i have the following for sale and each item will have free delivery except for the wheels. takata 6 point harness. fia and cams approved. expires in 2010. only used a few times and still in perfect condition. $300. 35mm Hub spacers 5 x 114.3. they are really light, better than the others getting around. however the nuts that secure it to the hub are 1.25mm thread pitch which is most nissans and other cars but the studs on the spacer are 1.5mm thread pitch. thats why i have included 19mm wheel nuts. $150. 1 pair of 17 x 7 inch wheels. they are white and in good condition. i am unsure off the offset but i know they dont fit on the front of my r32 but was told they fit on the rear. on the back it states 17x7JJ anyone know what that means??? they can also come with toyo tyres or not. $200 without tyres or $300 with tyres. location: acacia ridge, qld contact me through pm or add me to msn [email protected]

How Does A Heavy Duty Clutch Feel
Toasty posted a topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
hey everyone i am worried about an issue with my mechanic and my car. the car has just been installed with a heavy duty single plate organic and the clutch pedal is a lot stiffer. back when i first got my car it was apparently installed with a heavy duty clutch which i paid for. my friend was driving it noticed that the clutch pedal was not very strong and wondered if the mechanic actually put one in. my friend also had a heavy duty clutch installed from the same place. and our cars are similar running rb20's except his was a ceffy and mine is an r32. my car has only had 10,000kms on it since i bought it. a few weeks ago it made 184 rkw's. i am a drifter but have only been to about 10 track days. so my question is, if you did have a standard clutch did it feel easier to push in then a heavy duty? i think he is being dishonest or has forgotten and i dont want to pay twice for one clutch. thanks -
check your hose is secure and its not moving around when driving.

cool, how about some pics?

you can go aftermarket but be warned they are not always the best and you might have to rip it off and start again. thats what happened in my case.

john has a sheet floating around. maybe you can get a copy otherwise check this thread out. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=179582

its common that your boost does fall in higher rpm. it could be many reasons. such as bov, intercooler piping, silicon joiners, intercooler and anything else related to boost pressure. i am having the same problem and i beleive its the stock actuator. so i will be upgrading to the hks adjustable.
-
no and the reason was, he told me he didnt need them and then he told me that i had to get custom lines made when i got the turbo...
-
hey i just got a precision high flow ball bearingturbo for my r32 and its really good. i have some minor issues with my car but its definately worth it. the car is making 16psi at 4000rpm. but i did have to get new lines made up for my turbo and it would of been better if i was to buy a hks gtrs. if you are going ahead with this please make sure that it does truly bolt up or all the modifications required are listed.
-
i would say the one on the left simply because the other pipe is restrictive for the exhaust gasses.

yes the plug is brand new and from tomei. i dont have any pics because its at the workshop and i wont be heading over there unless i sell it. as for the r34 gtt i am sure it will fit but you will probably need a tune for it to run on your car.

its a 32 high flow. is there something on the boost controller i can use to get it to hold full boost?
-
could the boost drop be solved by increasing the gain on the boost controller? cef11e your are right about the nipple on the compressor housing.
