  1. I'm a bit confused, I didn't think 7670 would make high 300s on a 26? I had a chat with Geoff about and he was suggesting the 8374 instead. I'm like a few of you, want the most responsive 500rwhp or so street setup. I do have N1 manifolds (wanted bigger.but cast) a full 3.5" exhaust and e85 to help though, oh and about to fit Kelford L182-A drop ins.
  2. Oh dear. If it's our money and not rocking the boat is an issue, go the NEO route and just don't lean as hard on the new turbo, keep the power sensible and enjoy it. OR accept that it will be off the road longer, keep saving and go RB30. Just depends on if you want to wait I guess? You do some built RB30 long blocks pop up from time to time cheapish.
  3. So I found a place in the Netherlands with new old stock of Toyota V160 parts, same thing different packet. I was willing to buy all 3 hub and sleeve assemblies but he will not sell those without selling a full synchro kit, and I mean full synchro kit not just liners etc. He's charging a premium naturally (circa 3k delivered) so I'm going to sit on it and wait til Jacks completes their revised 3-4 assembly and buy all my bits through them at more reasonable prices (under 2k and improved/revised hub/sleeve combo and carbon liners for 1-4.
  4. They're still around but the market as split. There's not much "in the middle" these days. My first R33 GTS-T was 15k and it was dead stock. I sold it for 18k a few years later modded and bought a 33R. Highly modded GTS-Ts were worth that back then. What you see mainly now is the GTS-Ts/GTTs are being used as thrash cars either for track/drift, and still daily duties but still being thrashed, and then GT-Rs becoming more expensive, rarer, and more desirable even though we all know there are many cars for the same or lesser money that are better in many ways. Silvia's are very similar. Quite a decent S15 is no worth 15-20k. An s13, almost no matter it's mod list or condition has a hard time going for more than 5k, although some P Plate legal examples are now climbing in value (CA18DET). Same thing though, there are heaps more options that are comparable/better for the same/less money. So whilst my 34 has gone up in value considerably, my S13 is still worth the same 5k I bought it for 5yrs ago stock despite having 10k worth of stuff in it easily now (track car). This might upset some people when I say this, but I feel that the resource boom, rise of the upper middle bogan, and the drifting community have a had a lot to do with gutting the prices of the cars and the parts all round. "Just bought this 15k car last week, but it blew a head gasket, YOLO sell for 5k or swap or something cool"
  5. This Volks, the 9" wide ones, can you show me those in more detail. I wanna see if the colour matchs mine as it might save me painting this purple set I bought to get the 9s Is it the same colour as this? A charcoal type black rather than a really dark black?
  6. Neat little tyre rack. Did you make make that?
  7. Has anyone tried these? http://shop.synchrotech-transmissions.com/V160-Supra-Skyline-1-6-Carbon-Synchro-Set-SYN-V160.htm
  8. I've been told by someone they had their 3rd gear synchro replaced with a Holden item, I'm trying to find out what it was and will report back.
  9. Not worried, just bored and things are happening in your thread. Nothing in mine til new mounts and oil arrives.
  10. If you can be OK with red wheels, I can be OK with pushrods
  11. You've got me. This is all 100% serious and I definitely base my purchasing decisions on what others think lol
  12. I'm OK with a little homo if it's 6-7L of suprcharged goodness. Oh and let's put it in my Silvia
  13. Maybe it's because my first car was a VK or maybe it's just because I really am a bogan, but I wouldn't mind a GTS or a Senator with an LSA in it.
  14. Everyone knows it's only the current model V8 that's equals manhood, everything else is varying degrees of Boganism.
  15. Lol that's not helping your argument dude. Anyway, Evo needs came for brap and EFR TS turbo, hop to it.
  16. Hah, big difference between considering a tool for a specific job versus living the lifestyle and having it as a daily. Gayboi ;P xox
