  1. Because total power is not just about what airflow the turbo can provide. Fair to say 6L will make more power than a 1L yes? Adding the same turbo to each doesn't magically mean the 1L will now make the same output as the 6L. So I'm surprised a 2L will make the same/more than a 2.6L with the exact same turbo. Then again were talking 80s engine vs much newer design...
  2. 400kw on an 4 cylinder but people in here saying it will struggle to do that on a 6cyl with .6L more displacement 0_0
  3. Thanks Pete, are we talking max at 375 or max at 400? They're an ugly turbo to want to high mount. Dare I say the Precision is prettier to look at? When you see a full 6262 setup for $2300 (manifold, EWG, Dump. turbo, and lines) doesn't look like a bad option.

  5. OK question time. - What would be the best option for a solid 375-400rwkw in a stock bottomed RB26? Has headstuds, e85 setup, 76 plazmaman, cam gears already. - Could I potentially low mount this? - On what manifold? - Are we all agreed that the IW setup on these is good enough or is an external setup going to be better? The goal is maximum response to improve over -9s on a street car. I may also move to Kelford L182-A cams and springs. Will a 7670 get me there? My tuner just said a basic 3582R and a 6 boost would do, but these appear more responsive plus the smaller size means I have better chance of low mount. If low mount is too hard/expensive then high mount it will have to be.

  8. Getrag Parts Discontinued? I'm being told certain parts for the Getrag are now discontinued? Specifically, award are telling me they cannot get a 3rd gear synchro and 3rd/4th selector hub. Anyone got a lead on these parts or at least the part numbers?

  17. As an update for this. Blue painters tape, scotch branded, worked quite well on the paint, though it wanted to lift at the edges and only likes sticking to the paint itself so you can't layer it up. Keep in mind my bonnet and bar are fibreglass, roof and rear spoiler are metal. However, it pulled the clear off my freshly done headlights and a little off my splitter, both plastic items.
  18. Was a good day, you drove well. I'm keen to see how the Silvia stacks up, maybe you can drive instead and then it will go fast.
  19. Rear is whiteline, front is standard. I wont be tracking it again.
  20. Track day has been done, car was quite prone to understeer and had bulk rear grip. Needed more front camber and not to be running 400 treadwear tyres, yes I said 400 lol Lots of tyre squeel.
