  1. Am I missing something or can you not select oil and water temp in twin guage mode on the R34 MFD? Is it a Nismo only feature? Every other guage besides water temp is selectable from the twin guage settings menu.
  2. I think the big difference is response. 250-270kw is quite responsive. 350+ not so much on a little 2.6L
  3. Yeah it's all a matter of perspective and what you're comparing too. Dumps, exhaust, panel filter, and a tune will make a big difference without breaking the bank.
  4. I'm sure it was zippy for the era, but times have moved on. A Focus RS now has like 270kw 0_0
  5. I've never seen/been in a stock one. Can't imagine it would excite me much.
  6. I wasnt sitting on someones ass when I got sandblasted, was catching a car that wasnt paying attention and changed lanes onto me. Thanks for the useless suggestions and no answers to the actual question Anyone actually used the tape I'm talking about and if so is what I linked the same stuff?
  7. Evo drivers.... I have a bonnet, gaurds, lip, lights, roof etc that I don't want to fully respray.
  8. Front bar is f**ked remember. Just wanna preserve bonnet, lights etc for this one track day, then respray bar and get clear film.
  9. Tape for protection at track days? Is this the type of stuff people use? http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Norton-Blue-14-Day-Masking-Tape-48mm-x-50m/324007 If not what tape is it I've seen on the leading edges of nicer cars at track days to protect from stone chips etc?
  10. Given ride height of the car (even with it on max height as the BCs are just a low coilover) and all factory arms there was only so much that could be done. Car is driving straighter now though. Ended up with roughly: Front: Camber: Approx -1.5ish both sides Toe: Approx 1mm toe out both sides Caster was around 3.5-4 both sides, no adjustment in that factory, need to do the R33 conversion with separate arms. Rear: Camber: Approx -2 both sides. Toe: approx 1mm toe in both sides. See how it goes.
  11. I have 2 stage ramps, drive on, creeper. Done. And can still reach in from the top as needed.
  12. Only 3m wall height here. Did think about a hoist or maybe a small portable one but the neighbour had one first and said I was welcome to use it anytime which so far has been 0. When I think about what I'd use it for I rarely need to go very high anyway, suspension work, brakes etc, even subframe swap was easier close to ground as I was benching it in solo. So for me a smaller portable 1.2-1.4m lift would be more than enough but I don't really work on the cars enough to warrant the spend.
  13. I forget you city folks are often doing this in confined spaces. Spent some time cleaning up last night.
  14. Nice work, if you've got wood working skills you can make some Bunnings aero like on my Silvia
  15. Cheers, had that part, just wasn't sure if there was an N1. Seems it's just another N1 myth.
  16. I warned him he shouldn't keep dosing on an empty dose tank, but he couldn't help himself.
  17. He's keeping it coz he blew the turbo being too hektik.
  18. R34 N1 Balancer? Was there ever such a thing or only for the R32?
  19. So are the factory arms adjustable? Offset bush or something? EDIT: Just looking at pics of the LCA, didn't realise it was all one unit including castor with no adjustment essentially.
  20. I didn't think there was any adjustment in factory castor arms?
  21. Aligner is telling me if I can grab some castor arms before coming in that would be good as they're not adjustable factory and tend to pull left because they're a bit shorter one side from factory so they will pull left naturally. Any truth in that?
  22. I would of thought lower profile = stiffer sidewall = good?
