  1. I thought Evo's were bullet proof, or is it just the motor and not the drivetrain?
  2. Drop at workshop with parts. Return when complete... Who am I kidding, I love a bit of DYI. Silvia gearbox wasnt exactly fun, Evo gearbox will be aids. Enjoy.
  3. Nice. Someone swap me an Evo track car for my S13 Good luck with the clutch.
  4. What's the butt meter tell you?
  5. Do you use any form of data logging? Race Chrono will at least give basic sector times. Interesting to know where the Evo is quicker.
  6. Went back to previous page, answer wasn't there. Max effort expended. What pads?
  7. Change your bloody avatar.
  8. That's all that's in the Silvia, but CA = no torque. Also, I got it brand new for $150 because a guy bought it accidentally thinking it was for an RB. Score.
  9. You can find out what it is when you remove the remnants.
  10. I'm making a few changes so hopefully my graph looks more like that soon enough.
  11. Here we go... I bought the bloody diff didn't I lol Oh and I bought the cooler... what else do you want me to buy oh master of my builds
  12. I get you, get them even at stock torque spec, then increase to the ARP torque. Stock being 103-113Nm, ARP being 142Nm ish. Any issue causing damage by going tighter than stock? Risk to block/bore/threads/deform gasket?
  13. OK at least I have someone to blame if it goes tits Will post in Dyno thread in a month or so when I get this done, other shit fitted and back to the tuner.
  14. Some of that still exists. My no f**ks given budget CA track car build is in the motorsport section though, much safer in there.
  15. ARP kit arrived. Still lots of conjecture about using Nissan's process of tighten, tighten, loosen, tighten again vs ARPs 3 equal steps to 105ft lbs. Also, with the order, given I am removing one and replacing one stud at a time, should I be starting from the middle as per the diagram, or starting from the end, 14 in the digram, and working backwards. though in my head, given the gasket is already crushed and in place,m it shouldn't matter.
  16. Nothing I haven't seen here more or less. I've seen much worse on NS.com lol
  17. Interesting. I look at drifters like that.
  18. Good run down and very telling that all in all you're enjoying this more. Lets see how slow it feels once you've E85'd it etc. What do you mean by Evo drivers being a bit "different"? Also "It's a Lancer"? A GT-R is just a Skyline too.
  19. What's the best/worst parts about owning this car vs the GTR so far? Street or track, I don't mind.
  20. Smart move re fluids. I think I almost prefer those wheels without any stickers, but they look good either way. Look at you parked outside of Prada, you poser
  21. I was as well, but they confirmed it and I showed the local highway patrol a picture afterwards and he confirmed it was fine. Sometimes it's faster to just call and ask than research online. I found out that I could legally transport a full fuel drum in the back of the Territory, so that's how I went and got my barrel of E85 How's your car coming along?

  23. Wow, that's near on 200k AUD Do you think you could have built a comparable chassis for less or was there an element of nostalgia in this? That aside, it looks amazing and I wish more people built Silvia's as grip cars. My little cheapo s13 punches well above its above its weight for the power and tyres. This will be a monster
