I had a quick play on the bench and it doesn't seem to like going around corners. Wants to lift the inside edge, did you use additional adhesive?

Does this look like what you bought Hadouken? I had Clarke rubber ship me some.

As per my earlier post, I'm sticking with with standard for now.

No. I've already decided to leave the stock one. Given there's clearly been some discussion on this here, I didnt think it would hurt to continue the thread if there was new info at hand. Have you considered chilling out a bit?

As per the original post. Interested in people who have recently bought, not bought one years ago. Just to clarify.

A friend of mine works at Ross (came over when Omega bought them out) and claims they fixed an inherent design issue with the wrong offset on the pulley grooves when they came onboard. I'm wondering if anyone has bought and used one of these in recent times and can report back on how you've found it?

Hadouken, Any chance you can remember the specs of that foam? So I can call a Clarke rubber and order it online maybe? I can't find shit locally.

There isn't one here I've removed the foam and re-cleaned it. Will try Rare spares and see what he has.

This material won't go around corners like yours so I'm not loving this finish.

Hmm only black I could find was as linked in this thread, 25mm which might be a touch wide.

What width is that? I did some test fitting and found the bonnet doesn't even touch the snorkel anyway. Might be because it's not stock.

Dunno about that foam. I tested it on the side port. Have cleaned snorkel also.

Started last night, turps helps a little (in conjunction with gasket remover). I looked at the goof off stuff, appears to be mainly acetone so I'll try a little nail polish remover on a small section and see if it helps.

As pictured (though that's not mine) has anyone tried removing the existing foam and replacing it? I'm interested in how you went about removing and cleaning up the old foam/adhesive from the double sided tape they appear to use.
