  1. Does anyone know what the exhibitor lanyard does for you? I have one.
  2. Just watched another rear spoiler explode down the straight...
  3. Not a cheap issue to avoid either is it? A few K for solenoids, clips, and new fluid etc? LC is not a big deal to me as I have too much mechanical sympathy for that, I get what you're saying though, why have it if you can't use it. That said, my view on performance cars has always been pay to play, in that a car might be capable of a particular feat, but that doesn't mean you can do it all day every day and not expect the car to put up with it.
  4. And no questions at the gate or are you pulling some teenager stunt to get in? Turky and coke? I like the cut if your jib.
  5. So there's no byo but the guy at the gate just let's you stroll on in...
  6. Any rules on this? Is a six pack the limit? Also I'm not familiar with EC layout in terms of parking myself and an esky somewhere? Grandstand? Camping chairs a good idea?
  7. Lol love it We'll have to have a drink or two fatz, we can talk about fun times with old mate FabriCvntor
  8. Proven success or just a guess?
  9. On at least one of the days I'll be wearing my RB26 shirt if weather allows - me and a million other habibs. I'm also packing my Nismo Cap - because 12yr old fan boy.
  10. Might catch you there - Maybe I should wear a name tag.... Can't remember if I asked this. Is there any drinking at WTAC? I assume there is no BYO. think I recall someone saying something about a bar? I assume that price gouging comes as standard? Not looking to get hammered, but not opposed to a few bevvies.
  11. If you're specifically "in" Wodonga then none of those might be a good choice as they're all in Albury - La Maisons is on the causeway between the two towns though. In Wodonga you can try Cafe Grove in High Street or Cafe Elmwood on Beechworth Road. If you go to La Maison's and Wasim is there, looks like a younger plumper Sylvester Stallone, tell him I said Hi and to look after you.
  12. American's cannot do GT-Rs. Leave it to the Japs and Aussies. I'm not racist, but there I said it.
  13. Heaps of places to eat, but the 3 I listed are places you're going to want to sit down and order something decent, all of which are easily accessed from the highway and easy to get back to it. Glenrowan has a Maccas right on the highway, it's an hour south of Wodonga. Next Maccas is Yass which is a good few hours further North. Plnety of fast food places close to the highway exits here too. Just not sure how filthy you want to eat
  14. La Maison's on the causeway does a great breakfast with fresh local produce. Mr Benedict and The Paleo Cafe are also decent. What are you thinking?
  15. Just hit my local golf shop for a big cheap umbrella and a poncho. Come at me Sydney.
  16. Is there much cover at the track for spectators? I've never been. Bring an umbrella?
  17. That's pretty common knowledge I think, but only affects earlier models. Same as the bell housing issue I think.
  18. Thanks for this info, I'll pass it on to a mate of mine who is having/has had work done there just to make sure he checks everything himself. That's utterly appalling and is grounds for legal action, in terms of negligence.
  19. And quite a few dollars in purchase, service, repair and modification costs. Plus nostalgia in the sense that, for me, the R34 was 'the' car. It was attainable, but it was special. The same reason guys are still rebuilding SLR5000s
  20. The 70k examples tend to be very nice VSpec IIs or Nurs. Limited run and good condition will always command a premium in any model.
  21. Funny, because my heart says R34, it's my head that says consider the 35 because of how much better it is. Initially though, I'd be comparing higher priced VS2s, but after reconsidering that a nicely modded VS1 could be a winner as well, the price gap widens a fair bit. I will drive both when the time comes though and I expect prices to have moved around a bit too with the upcoming R36 (which just makes me think VW).
  22. I get what you're saying. A few of your comments start me on a different tangent too, in terms of R34 values. Yes the VS2 is closish to the 35 dollar wise, but I could always just buy a nice VS1 for less and then the gap is much bigger. But the black interior and carbon bonnet are so sexy and buying a late model non vspec to get the black interior means having to buy the front and rear aero. I realise the 34 is mechanically not hugely different to the 33. Looks and interior are very different though.
  23. Are you forking kidding me 0_0
  24. Surely you're not talking about a certain fabrications business that put more time into fabricating stories than parts?
