Sounds like personal preference. If you're not training for comps I say do whatever the hell you want. I wear gloves because I prefer it, you guys have mentioned it will be an issue for me, the apparent issues are not as important to me as the benefit I get, so I wear them.
I don't see straps being any different.
Look at getting yourself a foam roller, it's saved me quite a few trips to the physio.
As someone with a bung leg, I can say it's helped me a number of times
Careful with the injury, I find sometimes I have to drop more than just most obvious exercise if something is sore as force is always translated through joints on the way to target areas in other exercises.
They'd be track only, I have street rims and tyres.
What sort of rubber do you think I can get away with fitting on 8" fronts and 9" rears?
At the moment it's 235s all round.
Do you know what money the Kumho's run?
Those FZs still look to be good value to me.
LoL yes they do, lucky I have great pins too
Is that a no from you though or just talking smack?
If genuine no, have you tried them? Reviews seem to be pretty positive, in general not brand specific.
Thoughts on compression socks? As in the almost knew high style?
The Physio recommended I look at one for the bad leg during gym and morning jogs to help stop that ankle rolling in as it seems to want to.
She suggested 2XU but there appears to a few options. She said 2XU specifically because they have circumferential compression where as the Skins brand are vertical according to her.
Harry I see you were using the FZs earlier this year, are you still on them? IS that pre/post new compound? What did you think of them?

I had tight hip flexors and I just kept making love to my foam roller, all around the hip flixers, glutes, quads, ITB's etc. From the lower back through to the calves. Stretched and rolled everything daily.
I was trying to avoid it because it's so subjective.
Markos value for money will be some form of high end olympic setup and I should throw out everything I have now because I will never get anywhere with it, and while I'm at it, move to Frankston, join PTC and eat properly while squat and DL more lol
Yes I am being sarcastic
Well either, but price is more the factor as they don't need to be anything special when used by me, at home, on carpet, and taken care of.
I'm also not going to cry if they are slightly over under 20kg.
Excellent reply (as in thorough)
So they are $475each for a 235/45/R17 or $660 more than a set of FZs and that's not even accountign for the free delivery with the FZs.
1240 for a set including delivery or 1900 then you still need delivery.
Like I said, they can be a bit slower when they are 35% cheaper and include delivery as well.
Other places may have them cheaper of course that was just the first one I checked.
