Woah hold on there buddy, I simply said I could go back and correct it, to make me look good. I said nothing about an apology. Presumptuous much? -

I could go back and edit my now obviously incorrect posts, but I'm too lazy so it can just stay wrong. -

*facepalm* He's talking about Nissan's current involvement in racing in general, obviously not V8SCs... Contrary to popular belief there are countries other than Australia that partake in Motorsport... even using V8s, no kidding! As for the rain my guess would be he means SuperGT. Time for the man himself to clarify as I need to get out of my pissy pants. -

G35 exists in sedan and coupe form. Makes more sense to wait for the new model though. -

Oh snap Agreed, good for the sport but on your first point I gotta say WTF? Have you driven a stock standard Skyline? Even a GT-R, they are nothing special and have almost as much body roll with less compliance for Australian road conditions meaning that in many cases they actually hold a line WORSE around any corner that's not race track smooth. Having owned and modded a GTS-T, a GT-R, and an SS I can say that on the street, you will likely never go fast enough for the chassis benefits of the imports to really make a bees dick difference - that said though the GT-R was easily the best of the 3 but also had the most superior rubber and the biggest price tag when new, so it had better be the best. On the track is a whole different ball game because each car can then run different spring rates, tyres etc, and again the local product stands up very well. I'm no die hard V8 fan, I just like "Cars" and "Motorsport, in whatever guise. I just get my knickers in a bunch sometimes about the hatred that gets thrown at the local products and the misconception that 10year old imports with some basic bolts ons are gods gift to car enthusiasts. If we're going to argue that Nissan is so hektik uleh because it can corner then we can also argue that they are a steaming pile of shit compared to an MX-5 or an S2000. This this was where my head was going too, G35 coupe? Aww yeah -

Given the relevance of the Bluebird to the Aus market what would the point of that be? If you want to see turbo bluebirds beltin out laps why not get down to your local club event and enjoy the variety? Done of us appreciate Motorsport in all forms. I couldn't care less what it is when I see massive brakes an carbon bits here there and everywhere. Hell watch Aus GT or follow IPRA or any other number of categories that include far more variety but attract far less media and sponsorship dollars. I think far too many import fans are rediculously one eyed about this sort of thing. Almost as if it actually matters to them if old mate next door genuinely thinks his new SS is just like the ones on TV. And heaven forbid people LIKE the local product, which is actually pretty decent for the dollars, according to a fair few international auto journos. Unsurprisingly the biggest racing series in Aus is based around two of the markets oldest manufacturers and very popular models with the general, spectator fee paying, audience. Pretty much as it is in most countries. I think sometimes the biggest reasons people have an issue with V8SC is because it gives V8 fans some genuine ammo in the mine is better than yours argument which is especially hard for Skyline owners when mildly tuned new V8 offerings will keep up with and in many cases beat most similary modded imports. Flame suit on -

OK seeing as Uncle Benny is getting cranky, but not at you MB, just anyone above that so that includes me From the V8 Website "The cars will still feature V8 engines, rear-wheel drive and four doors. They'll also continue to make the same roar and be just as fast, if not actually faster. Currently, the chassis beneath the skin of the Falcon and Commodore are all extremely similar, with the next step being a control chassis — it's cheaper and is also aimed at making it easier for other potential manufacturers to build a V8 Supercar. A Commodore will still have the DNA of a Commodore, ditto for a Falcon or any other type of car that joins in. The doors will still open and close, the panels are the same shape and style of the road car, and the badges are real, too! A manufacturer wanting to join the V8 Supercars Championship could even come along with their own V8 engine, used under a parity system to ensure it's on par with the current units in the class, or use a 'category' engine if they wish to go with already-established technology." So control chassis, own panels "massaged" to fit chassis where needed, and can BYO engine assuming certain power/torque limits etc or use a crate/control option. -

I was more so thinking it would simply be one chassis and cage setup with a shell on top loosely resembling something in the each marques lineup? -

I'm guessing he means 34s because even my 165rwkw CA S13 runs a 43 on street rubber -

That's good enough for me though, in much the same way that I like Nascar when I'm only watching the 45 sec highlight reel from the news that shows the smashes How was that walk home last night by the way -

Agreed also, I generally watch it if I'm home and it's on and I usually make an effort to watch Bathurst but I'm no die hard fan that knows when ever race is on, though I do have Team Vodafone stubby holder after meeting Lowndes at Winton and getting a giggly school girl pic. Despite it being essentially a one make series in terms of the tech, it's still good racing and I love how different it is from the other main form of racing most of us watch, F1, in that the cars can trade paint almost all day long and still run. I also love watching BTCC but don't get to catch too much of it. Those guys are crazy as and it's very entertaining racing. I honestly don't think it would make any difference if the cars were all the same because they all just drive balls out 99% of the time. While I'd personally love to see each marque racing variants of its own cars, in the end it's still racing and I'll take what coverage I can get - Shame we don't see more Targa coverage too as we seem to get every round of the WRC (which I also watch when it's on). -
Having a look at that site, the WPI seems well priced. As for the Dymatize I linked earlier, it lists the contents down the side of the page but only states "Protein" and does not specify any further than that. That said, I have not been able to confirm the contents as neither Dymatize nor MrSupps will reply to an email about the discrepancies in the nutritional info.
-
lol yep sure am but I think you'll just have to accept that we have differing opinions on this. You're happy for your supp to be a steak, I'd rather something specifically targeted to assist in the areas I'm focused on.
-
You'll recall Kez that I was where you were a long time ago, started out at 65kg so I'm pretty comfortable with what I do and don't need supplements for. If you have the time to eat a steak after a workout, that's awesome. I don't and one scoop of X and some milk is much faster for me, plus I can get a few extra goodies specifically for recovery rather than just the protein a steak would give me - and yes I realise you're using steak as an example only. The $$ is worth the convenience and the extra assistance in terms of recovery for someone with my secondary muscle group injury history. That said, I'm finding you guys surprisingly quiet on this topic - Or is this the one part of working out that everyone still keeps secret squirrel?
-
lol, I'm not about to eat a steak post workout Kez. It's as much about recovery as it is about gaining a couple extra kgs.

Website shows one rounded scoop = one serve, so in the 2.3kg tub there's almost 60 serves. http://www.dymatize.com/products/protein/505/elite-fusion-7/ Oddly though the website breakdown doesn't show the creatine component like Mr Supplement website does. So how the hell am I supposed to know what's in it
-
Having a look now, any particular brands to keep an eye on or stay clear of? Thoughts on this? I had a look through the Blended proteins and most of them have WPI and aminos but this one had creatine monohydrate also http://www.mrsupplement.com.au/dymatize-nutrition-elite-fusion-7 Though I can't work out the serving side, says 76g per serve but says 59 serves per pack and pack is 2.3kg those numbers don't add up? Or is it the scoop is approx 38g so there are 59 scoops in the tub but 2 scoops are required for one "serve" The cost per serve seems a bit high compared to many others, but it also has the creatine monohydrate in it as mentioned.
-
Doing my head in having a look at these online supplement places 0_0 From what I can tell all I need is a decent WPI and maybe some Creatine Monohydrate (Assuming one of those has enough BCAAs in it) Is there a product that combines both or am I going to have to buy two products? As mentioned this is more for a post workout recovery supp, though I could potentially use it in lower doses in the off days if necessary.

Quick update to this. Managed 3 sets at 72.5 on the bench Upped weight but failed bb curls at 36kg 10-8-6, pretty shitfful Watched a clip on the other thread And realised I was doing squats too shallow. Had a go tonight ass to heels deep and did my 3 sets but only 46-47kg and found it much harder, that's the sort of leg feeling I was expecting. SLDL now at 54-55kg hit found that much harder after deeper squats Cheater dips at 40 reps BB rows at curl weight Also run out of protein powder I had so need a post workout supp to put back what I'm using. Won't bother updating again unless i have something worth noting. Appreciate the help guys. Really feel like bb rows and SLDL are helping back shoulders and the hunch I was getting. See how I go getting a rack.
