  1. I just had a look and no for all. Each has an easily accessed slot for one but I'd jut go with a cheap USB adapter. If that's a deal breaker then just make an offer minus the cost of a USB adapter, easy
  2. Hey guys, Got a couple of cheap laptops that would be ideal for students, tuning, media connectivity etc. I've got 2 maybe 3 Dell Inspirons (depends on if the missus wants one) and one Toshiba Satellite Dell Specs: Inspiron 5100 2.6GHz P4 512MB RAM 30-40GB (Not 100% on which it is) CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive 15" Screen Win XP Pro License Dell Delux Leather Carry Bag Toshiba Specs: Satellite A10 Celeron 2.4GHz 512MB RAM 30-40GB (Not 100% on which it is) CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive 15" Screen Win XP Pro License Targus Urban Carry Bag Prices include the Notebook, Delivery, The Carry Case, and a fresh install of Win XP Pro (license is attached to the machine). Dells: $150 Toshiba: $130 If you're after more than one we can work out a discount. I'm also after a PS3 and would be willing to work something out plus I have a chipped Xbox and a chipped Wii with accessories and a TurboXS Boost controller for sale/trade also - see my other topics - I've also got a CA18DET S13 that I'm always looking for parts for. So, throw me some offers Any questions just PM me or drop me an email at [email protected] Cheers
  3. Yeah had already considered that I'd want the air to merge as seamlessly as possible, but cheers for the tip anyway
  4. Replaced so no longer needed, going very cheap. $25 delivered anywhere in Aus or have a go at the ebay auction and try and get it cheaper! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270762504379#ht_500wt_1156 PM or email is fine - [email protected]
  5. Cheers Rich I should have it under control now, though I think I might end up mounting it pre cooler simply as there is already a spot for and it will keep my plumbing tidy.
  6. One does not simply make a metal intake pipe... but I do have a mate who works at an Engineering place who should be able to dodge me up something. See how we go.
  7. Well I like to make sure I have a grasp on something before I go cutting holes in things "Plumb it in between turbo inlet and AFM" Soon as I read that I face palmed because it seems so obvious now. Will be interesting to see how I go about that as my intake between the turbo and afm is still the factory plastic one. Will have to see what my options are.
  8. Hey guys, I've picked up a factory plumb back R33 BOV to put on my S13 (CA so no BOV factory) and I'm in the process of working out where best to put it. I can't easily find an R33 engine bay pic that shows me where the air rejoins the system after flowing through the BOV on an R33 but here's what I'm thinking. From what I understand the ideal location for the BOV itself is as close to the throttle body as possible but this won't be possible on my car without a lengthy return pipe crossing the engine bay (CAs have a forward facing plenum and I have a front mount). So the BOV itself would go on the hot pipe then merge it back in before the front mount, as there is a bung/hose on the cooler pipe already. This would leave a pipe run of maybe 60-70cms and would be neater. I could also mount the bov on the piping on the cold side of the cooler then run it back under the cooler to the other outlet, from the engine bay all you'd see would be the feed from the intake going to the top of the BOV. Does the length of the return pipe matter? Will it affect how useful it is mounting it so far away from the throttle body if I go the hot pipe route? In my head the shorter the return pipe the better as there's less additional volume added to the intake that requires pressurising. On the other hand, if the return is too small there may be be enough volume for the vented air to escape into when the valve opens - but this seems moot as that side would technically already be pressurised? Some clarification would be great. My 33 GTS-T and GT-R both had factory BOVs in place and remained that way so this is a bit new to me. Cheers
  9. Looks like no takers, will take best offer or let it collect dust in the garage.
  10. This should be accessible for everyone, a few car shots and some from the night out. I think between Kate and I we took more pics of Leon and Campbell than anyone else for some reason but there are a few others also. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150322035814838.419719.753524837
  11. We just came down to spectate this time but we had just as much fun as always, Saturday night was a cracker, so glad we stayed Keiran: You're driving has gotten much better since I last watched you at a DECA, top work! That was me who made the Supra/water comment, you know how much I love Supras... Also what was in that shot at Taco Baz's? Shane: Awesome result! Thanks for the passenger ride too, I needed a GT-R fix Juzzy: Bloody good effort given the condition of those tyres! Leon: You beat Campbell in your own car - YAY lol I thought dinner run much smoother this time, for me the food and service was better (I had the mexican, a few people had the parmi and said they didn't feel rash hot but I'd say it was more likely the alcohol talking).
  12. Better yet, listed on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270759572479&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:AU:1123#ht_500wt_1156
  13. Ideally looking for 235 R17 semi slicks in a used but good a condition in possible, will also take high performance street tyres like KU36s, RT615s, FZ 201s etc. If they're attached to rims I will also consider those too but they've gotta be at least 8-9" wide and 4 x 114.3 (Silvia 4 stud) in a reasonable offset. I'll organise and pay for freight. I can also offer some 17x7 5 spoke silver rims with ok tyres as part payment if wanted. Let me know what you've got guys.
  14. Price drop $40 delivered or take one of those Turbotech boost taps as part payment.
  15. I'm not sure I want to 'get' anything going on between you two lol Anyway, bring on the weekend!
  16. I'm sensing some sexual tension here...
  17. Rules of the Ocean? Don't think we're expecting quite THAT much rain
  18. To answer a few common questions I'm receiving via PM. It seems a new Wii retails for $150 so I'll say $170 for this Wii which includes the $80 mod chip, the $30 charging station, the $20 component leads, etc etc. $20 more for all that gear doesn't seem to bad to me. I'll chuck $50 on the xbox for everything it owes me over $150. Or $200 for both, OR I'll put cash in and swap for a PS3 with GT5. As with almost everything in life, make an offer if you're genuinely interested, low ballers should definitely hit eBay though Regarding games, this mod chip is attached to the DVD drive and allows burnt games to be played (I just download the iso online and burn to disc) The ability to play from an external hard drive is something provided by a newer mod device called the WODE and that allows you to play from an external disk, think it's about $150 from memory. Cheers
  19. Matt: That's a bummer but you gotta do what you gotta do! At least your reason will evolve into making lots of cash which will in turn see you attend more DECAs in more powerful cars, this can only be considered a good thing!
