  2. Hey Rowdy, thanks mate. How much are you wanting for them, I've just moved back home to Albury/Wodonga but have plenty of mates down that way who could come collect. PM me if you like Cheers
  3. I'd like to relocate the battery to the boot and my current normal style battery is shagged, is there such thing as a cheap dry cell on the market? All I'm finding is Odyssey's for $300 or so. I dont have anything separating the cabin from the boot so a dry cell also elminates the need for venting.
  4. Even with the colour that is a friggen steal. If I had the cash right now I'd buy that and paint it.
  5. Wow, no abs? You must be braking hard and for a long time when they lock up, I locked mine a couple times here and there and didn't flat spot them =\ This is why I got second hand stuffed semis for learning.Maybe get some track rims and some second hand semis from Donnellans (spelling?) until you get the hang of braking control etc. I got my learner semis for $250 for the whole set delivered from Melb to Albury.
  6. Still having no luck Shell. I don't think I introducd myself on the day, but I was in the Silvia with the female passenger who needed a quick pit stop before we started our mini wang run lol Did anyone get a pic of me losing it at the hand brake turn around the cones on the basketball court?
  7. Wow, if I was ready to buy I'd certainly be interested, might be a bit nice/special for track work =\
  8. There's a couple in our set at the flicker link I posted.
  9. Great time as per usual, big thanks to Ryan, Bec and all the SAU Vic team and volunteers for making it possible +1 on the Taco Baz comment, it seems quite a few people weren't stoked with the service. Must be time to try a new venue I'd say. Here's a couple of the pics Kate snapped, we didn't get a heap as it was hard to get her out of the car and into the cold http://www.flickr.com/photos/53087381@N08/...57624728331086/
  10. This thread is going down hill...
  11. Is this partner coming to DECA Dane? At least I bring mine along so she can go for rides and squeel. I know how you guys love having a squeeling passanger - side bar, I reckon Kate is gonna bags a ride in the STI. She loves the thing... pfft.
  12. Bahah then when people give you shit at the track and say is that your wifes car you can say yeah it is, and it's still faster than your shit heap (if it actually is..)
  13. Call me insecure but I don't think I could voluntarily buy a FWD hatch as a track car. not when you have so many other choices!
  14. You sound like a jaded lover, did you once get chopped by something 3S powered?
  15. It is but I'd rather a 33 purely based on looks, I know the 32 is lighter.
  16. Yep, if you wanted Toyota and turbo you'd be better of with an RWD Celica or a GT4 if you could get some weight out of the pig. SW20 is a boat and a real handful with any power on board.
  17. As a former 3S owner I can say that a straight drag between a 3S-GE and an SR20DE stock for stock shows the Toyota engine to be willing NA performer. Not as cheap to mod as the SR though and service/repair costs for the rest of the car are higher. I still say go Nissan, but couldn't resist chirping in about the Toyota offerings.
  18. Awesome! I wanted to see the blue beasty
  19. Thanks heaps Kel, no doubt I will be chasing you up at some stage to pick your brain Really appreciate the time put into the reply. Side bar: We're not married lol
  20. My thoughts exactly Military spec, I love it
  21. I had thought about that myself, I'm no electronics guru, I do work in IT though, and the tech behind it didn't seem that advanced.
  22. Interesting, do you think most of that comes from running the Terra stuff from the cars 12v system?
  23. I told my bosses at my job here in Melbourne that I'm leaving early so I can get home and do it Friday night =D It's my last day here so doesn't really matter.
