  1. Sounds like there's a few sizes then. Dunno if I trust them though...
  2. Thought I'd better post an update to this. I did end up towing the car to DECA and the BA managed fine though it did drink the fuel. 150k's for half a tank so bare that in mind. Having said that I did sit on 105 or so on the highway. I might look around some wreckers for a heavy duty tow pack and invest in a trans cooler down the track. I've read some interesting things about BA auto's breaking something internal to the box that can be bypassed for an external one (not sure if they're talking about a cooler or not) more research is needed. Ultimately, was all OK. Just give yourself plenty of space to brake.
  3. I'm embarrassed to say that yes I do a bit. Black FTW! I could also go something that was black with grey trim or black with red or blue trim depending on how much is there. Of course price is the ultimate factor, if the difference between red and black is $100 or something then I might just have to take the red etc
  4. The 8's are +34 and there's also 9's in +35, they have a few diff combo's but these seem to be the most common. Is it common AND safe to get 5 stud rims re-drilled?
  5. I was talking about suitable offsets etc in another thread and Nisskid said to steer clear of the Koya's. I know a new set can be had for around the 1300 odd dollar mark. the offsets are super awesome though, +34 in the 8" wide if I recall. Would be a touch less inner clearance but if it needed a spacer at the front it would be a tiny one I think.. Hard to tell clearance to the shock when the car is off the ground, even when jacking the wheel back up. Need a pit!
  6. Second hand GP90 sounds nice... Show me your king powers
  7. Where are you getting these prices? Revolution lists the Sparco at 750 and the Imola at 900. Hook me up! lol
  8. I'm not up to speed on what's required, so the JJR hubs fully replace the existing hubs, track doesn't change etc? $550 for the kit isn't cheap, the wheels would have to be crazy cheap to compensate, could just as easily spend couple hundred more on the 4 stud rims than I planned and still be ahead and no stuffing with rotors... hmmm
  9. Could be done I suppose, what else is needed for 5 stud besides the hubs?
  10. haha and bin my new brakes and rotors lol
  11. Yeah someone else suggested him too so I'll hit him up. Thanks dude, bit expensive though for a budget track car build =\ Offset might be interesting on my S13 too (as far as inner clearance goes). Yeah had him mentioned too, will hit him up also, thanks!
  12. Yeah it seemed nice but wasn't cheap, this is a budget build Hard balance I know ti find decent seat for good money. I'd like to hear from anyone who has/had a Velo Milano
  13. lol ahh there we go, there's the clincher lol I think there's a bit more involved in a 5 stud conversion than just hubs. Plus my brakes are new and 4 stud.
  14. At first I was like Then I was like lol
  15. For what? to ask them if the GP-90 is a better seat? I'd prefer to make my own mind up by sitting in both. My issue is being in Alb/Wodonga and not being able to sit in both easily.
  16. lol thanks mate but I might struggle to fit my 17" 235 wide semi's on those
  17. Nice, thanks for that. Unsure if the GP-90 is worth the extra over the Milano, problem is I can't sit in them locally.
  18. Hmmm.... I conclude that S13s suck lol
  19. I've got BC brand BR coilovers, cheap shit ones but they do the job OK. I'm having trouble finding almost anything suitablle. I'll get under the car and check out some clearances tonight. Even an 8" wide rim with +30 is going to eat up another 3mm inner clearance..
  20. Ahh thanks Ryan. Cutting out and welding in new mounts is getting a bit serious (I'd have to get a mate to help as I'm not that metal fab savvy) I was hoping for a bolt in solution. Side mounted seats allow height adjustment though don't they? All the mounts I have looked at have at least 5 holes for height?
  21. Thos Drift Teks seem popular but come in either 8" +34 or 9" + 35 which will give me less clearance than I have now. I'll have to check ow far out the rim is as the tyre is just clearing at my camber settings but I'm not sure where the rim is sitting right now.
  22. Yeah thanks Leigh, I need to hear that right now lol...
  23. Cheers, will ask him what he has.
  24. lol thanks Russ, not sure if that's a compliment or a slap in the face Does Tim lurk about on the forums?
