Despite note setting a blistering time (this was my first circuit session in the silvia) I had a blast and learned a heap about the car. I started out running about 2mins and got that down to 1:47.9 by the end of the day through a combination of feeling more confident behind the wheel, trusting the new brake setup more and winding in as much camber as possible as per Ryan's tips. Also, I'll be getting hold of some decent rubber shortly, if only to stop people telling me that I could take X seconds off my lap time if I wasn't running Wan Li street tyres lol
Thanks to everyone who was involved in organising the day and a quiet thanks to Justin for not having too much of a go at me for continuing to go way too hard after the checkered flag, thankfully I didn't do any damage with that big off at the end of the day
As usual, the night was just as enjoyable though I felt bad for Bec having to wait so long for her food! As an aside, I'm not drinking any shots that come from Campbell...
Given the car survived... I'll see some of you at DECA
