  1. I'm still dealing with brake issues, fingers crossed.
  2. Just took it off stands then. Gonna go bed in the brakes after dinner. We had calliper clearance issues. Angle grinder solved them. Shame, my caliper paint job was good =\ Should be there
  3. Hopefully I'll make it, gotta fit the rebuilt brake master cylinder tonight and get some k's up on the new brakes. Has been a hectic lead up but I'm looking forward to see everyone there tomorrow. I've printed up some special signage for my car (nothing special just some lame A4 paper stuff) so I'll be easy to identify lol
  4. Need these gone guys, throw me some offers.
  5. Auction for these ends 10am tomorrow morning. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...s=tab%3DSelling
  6. Hell yeah, talk to you soon
  7. Hey Dave, yeah I remember you. Hope you've got that seatbelt issue well and truly sorted Thanks for the tips. I've been doing a bit of reading up on the s155bb swap so I *think* I have a handle on it but it's also great to hear from someone who has done it. I'm tossing up whether or not I wanna go that route now though, might be worth shelling out a few hundred extra for a brand new turbo. Found out I have a mate who has access to cost price disco potatoes and the like. See how we go. Interesting stuff about the cage. If the cage is not CAMS approved what will that mean to my ability to attend events? I assume SAU DECA days and winton drift/track/fun days will still be fine with any old cage? Bad luck on the missing out next weekend but hopefully you can pull some strings and get august happening. Depending on the weekend I could probably help out myself. Cheers
  8. what turbo? what clutch? willing to separate?
  9. Fwoar, big effort. Hope you're looking after him
  10. I'm a bit over the build process myself. Let's see... Bought some wheels with wrong PCD (was told by seller they were 114, they are clearly 100) which is a shame coz they are awesome wheels (someone buy them) GT-R seats won't be here until Thursday or there abouts so little chance i can get them modded and in before the weekend. My rotors arrived yesterday (S15 brake conversion up front, new pads and rotors all round) only to find that there's no rear rotors. So I'll have to wait until Wednesday or so for them to arrive, fingers crossed I get this done before the drifts. Guy with a roll cage is stuffing me around, was hoping to have it in before the drifts, haven't even bought it yet. The list goes on All part of the game though, just can be a bitch trying to sort this stuff when you're working flat out during the day and have plenty on at night. (or have kids DVS...) It's gonna rock though so I can't wait for when we do finally hit the track.
  11. Bought these on ebay after being told they were 4 and 5 stud and would fit 114.3 PCD, wrong. Stamped as 5 x 100, clearly drilled for 4 x 100 also. Offset is +40 Tyres 2x with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres 215/45/ZR17 (90%) 2x with Wanli 215/45/ZR17 (95%) Nice and light and in very good condition. Located in Albury Wodonga, pick up is fine, can drop off at freight depot or leave'em at work for courier collection. $800 or will swap for good 17" 4 x 114.3 rims with equally good rubber. Can be reached on 0427 928 304, [email protected] and via PM Cheers
  12. Hmm I'm liking the sound of this twin thermo fan setup a few guys are running... Also.. I might be onto a turbo (S15 BB) No chance of having it fitted before the drift day though, should have it on for the SAU track day on the 18th of July
  13. I'll definitely have a go at third gear slides for sure and hopefully both the car and I survive the day as there's a fun day on the 4th then an SAU track day on the 18th of July (my birthday!) The next month and a bit is gonna rule. I also heard rumour of another SAU DECA day on August
  14. I'll be putting around and clutch kicking second I think to start with. A) Complete drift virgin as I've always been into grip driving (this whole letting the steering wheel spin thing is nuts to me) B) CA18DET with minor mods wouldn't hold a slide in third without some decent entry speed that I won't have the skill to control Can't wait to give it a bash though, should be a blast. I'm crossing my fingers we all make it through the day with the only damage being to tyres
  15. Thanks Bec I'm already on it as I realised I'd need 2S for the winton sprint series and various other events I wanna get in on. Can't wait
  16. Damn u poor bugger... must be terrible to have only 220kws in a 1200kg car I'd be lucky to have 120kws!!
  17. Yeah will be doing the Winton Sprint Series too so going for CAMS, VicDrift membership went through yesterday so should be right to go with signup for CAMS now. Sweet! I'll keep an eye out for the smoke plumes My little CA won't quite go that hard but it should be fun. Picked myself up a set of 17" Sparco's with rubber ready to burn yesterday
  18. Hah, don't tell me that Nick, I need all the help I can get! Also big thumbsup to Ryan mixing it up and pulling off some awesome times. You'll have to PM me and tell me what's done to that SilEighty, she must be a bit of a weapon (or maybe you're The Stig?)
  19. Congrats guys top effort all round. We've clearly got some highly skilled drivers among us. If I'm lucky some of it might rub off on me
