  1. I'll definitely have a go at third gear slides for sure and hopefully both the car and I survive the day as there's a fun day on the 4th then an SAU track day on the 18th of July (my birthday!) The next month and a bit is gonna rule. I also heard rumour of another SAU DECA day on August
  2. I'll be putting around and clutch kicking second I think to start with. A) Complete drift virgin as I've always been into grip driving (this whole letting the steering wheel spin thing is nuts to me) B) CA18DET with minor mods wouldn't hold a slide in third without some decent entry speed that I won't have the skill to control Can't wait to give it a bash though, should be a blast. I'm crossing my fingers we all make it through the day with the only damage being to tyres
  3. Thanks Bec I'm already on it as I realised I'd need 2S for the winton sprint series and various other events I wanna get in on. Can't wait
  4. Damn u poor bugger... must be terrible to have only 220kws in a 1200kg car I'd be lucky to have 120kws!!
  5. Yeah will be doing the Winton Sprint Series too so going for CAMS, VicDrift membership went through yesterday so should be right to go with signup for CAMS now. Sweet! I'll keep an eye out for the smoke plumes My little CA won't quite go that hard but it should be fun. Picked myself up a set of 17" Sparco's with rubber ready to burn yesterday
  6. Hah, don't tell me that Nick, I need all the help I can get! Also big thumbsup to Ryan mixing it up and pulling off some awesome times. You'll have to PM me and tell me what's done to that SilEighty, she must be a bit of a weapon (or maybe you're The Stig?)
  7. Congrats guys top effort all round. We've clearly got some highly skilled drivers among us. If I'm lucky some of it might rub off on me
  8. ROFL Results page bookmarked. Come on RB POWA!
  9. Actually that makes more sense. Despite being $15 a year more expensive in annual member ship, u only need to attend a couple drift events to make it back via the $10 saving VicDrift members get. Nice thinking!
  10. CAMS it is then, guess I'm about to become an SAU VIC member. Cheers
  11. What will the CAMs license get me that the AASA one wont as you need to be a member of something like SAU VIC to get the CAMs license the AASA one works out cheaper. Any limitations I should be aware of?
  12. I'll be there, getting my new S13 track/drift car ready for this event in particular as this will be the first serious shakedown and I have no experience. Be sure to give me a wide birth
  13. Don't forget the track day at Winton on the 18th!
  14. Them's fighting words! Though I'm conflicted... I'm an RB fan but I did just buy an S13 as my little track/drift fun car. Cadet powered though so I can stay out of the SR/RB battle
  15. I'm only just getting back into the car scene so didn't even know this was on so won't be attending Next year I'm up for it though, possibly able to support someone as I don't think my little S13 track car is really worth entering Although by then I might have bought msyelf another R... Go team RB! Sorry Ryan =\
