Yeah they do run rich fuel maps stock. A PFC and good tune will resolve this as well as improve power and fuel efficiency =)

Evening, I've had my car for just on 4500k's now and I'm gearing up for my first service, I'll be doing box, diff and coolant as well as oil, oil filter, clean POD (which is only 1000k's old) and plugs, so I know these fluids are fresh. Below is a list of parts and prices I've obtained from a local supplier, I'd like to know if anyone knows where I can get these items cheaper from an online seller. 50L's? Is this from dead empty or from when the fuel light is on? As I thought the 33 had a 65L tank? I'll let you guys know when next I fill up how I went, I'm guessing a fuel usage around 12-13L around town.

Dezz: Yeah I realised that yesterday too, oh well, got a full tank now and I have a feeling my economy is around 12-13L/100 around town which is fine, now to just find that fuel smell!

Ok new info! My fuel light has just started coming on when going around corners, I filled it up, it took just on 52L so the fuel light must be set to 10L's? (Based on it being a 65L tank, is that right?) With this new info it means my car is actually getting ore like 12-13L /100K's around town. Which seems more like what I expected form this car, which for now is stock other than a POD with Heat Shield. Now that I have full fuel and know when the fuel light comes on, I should be able to run it to the light and will have a much better idea then. Stay tuned! P.S. Can anyone confirm or deny the fuel tank capacity and level at which the light comes on? (it certainly seems like 10L remaining given I got 52L in and the tank is supposed to be 65L) Cheers!

Man, maybe I am getting normal fuel economy then... 400K's to 65L around town is 16.25L/100... that's terrible! LoL and 14-15 seems to be what I'm getting now. Then again... i Originally thought the Fuel Light meant 5L left, not 10. Can you confirm these figures? Where di you read/see that it's 10L remaining?

Well that's a bit vague... Half a tank as in bone dry or the fuel light just come on? We're talking an RB25DET yes? Do you have any mods? Also looking for ideas on my fuel smell and an answer to how many litres are left when the light comes on =)

At what point does the fuel light come on? That is, how many litres remain when the light comes on? In addition, what is supposed to be the standard fuel consumption for an RB25DET? I seem to getting pretty crap economy. $40 = around 31L of Optimax = ~220K's (or is it $45 = 34L = 220K's, can't remember) of City driving, occasional boost, before the fuel light comes on. I also have a really strong smell of fuel when I start it up, checked the boot, no smell or visible leaks in there. Ideas and answers to questions??? Cheers

This topic has been covered before... Speaking from experience as someone who doesn't have tiny Jap hands, I had to loosen and move the coolant bottle, washer bottle and fuse box then get my hand in behind and 1/4 turn and you're done. It's a pain but you don’t have to 'remove' those items, just loosen and relocate out of the way. Cheers

Ok, had another go and put a bit more tie into this one. I chose a 7th Gen Civic as a mate at work has one but refuses to do 'anything' to it, so I'm trying to entice him =D Constructive feedback welcome! For reference, the car has had rims, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and spoiler added. Lowered and windows tinted as well as the Aerial removed.

Hi Hi, Recently upgraded from PS7 to CS2 and had a stab at the digimods tutorial on changing colour. Here's the before and afters, constructive criticism is welcome. Will be dabbling more with this one and putting wheels on etc. I know it's nothing special, but as I said my first go and only took like 30mins =\ Ok just added wheels, I know the reflection is changed but yeah constructive criticism. The back wheel looks a little flat and blending/colour options are off but hey, that's 1.5hrs of tutorial experience =D

That's a good point, they are very cheap and usually any place that's far cheaper than the rest is quite busy. They may also have less staff than comparable organisations to keep costs down =) Pump them with email or better yet call them, they've gotta answer the phone =D
