  1. If I ever get this wrong bank account bullshit worked out I'll have some 18's Impuls, they look awesome and don't cost a fortune, though if the lucky unknown account holder doesn't give the money back they might cost me heaps =\ Fingers crossed all =D
  2. This topic has been covered before... Speaking from experience as someone who doesn't have tiny Jap hands, I had to loosen and move the coolant bottle, washer bottle and fuse box then get my hand in behind and 1/4 turn and you're done. It's a pain but you don’t have to 'remove' those items, just loosen and relocate out of the way. Cheers
  3. LoL yeah I noticed that this morning and went DOH! Interestingly, I've shown it to about 10 people here and no-one has noticed that... =D So I'll get away with it this time...
  4. Ok, had another go and put a bit more tie into this one. I chose a 7th Gen Civic as a mate at work has one but refuses to do 'anything' to it, so I'm trying to entice him =D Constructive feedback welcome! For reference, the car has had rims, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper and spoiler added. Lowered and windows tinted as well as the Aerial removed.
  5. Sweet, will give this a try at home tonight =D
  6. How do you do that and preserve ground lines?
  7. The handles are body coloured in the original, or do they just happen to be silver on all models? Will have a stab at lowering it soon, time for bed now =D Cheers
  8. Hi Hi, Recently upgraded from PS7 to CS2 and had a stab at the digimods tutorial on changing colour. Here's the before and afters, constructive criticism is welcome. Will be dabbling more with this one and putting wheels on etc. I know it's nothing special, but as I said my first go and only took like 30mins =\ Ok just added wheels, I know the reflection is changed but yeah constructive criticism. The back wheel looks a little flat and blending/colour options are off but hey, that's 1.5hrs of tutorial experience =D
  9. That's a good point, they are very cheap and usually any place that's far cheaper than the rest is quite busy. They may also have less staff than comparable organisations to keep costs down =) Pump them with email or better yet call them, they've gotta answer the phone =D
  10. I'm acquiring it as we speak ^-^ I've had a bit of a play using some of the digimods info, looks good so far. Got plenty of questions but will wait til I get CS2 first =)
  11. I have PS 7 and don't have Adjustments -> Variations... What gives?
  12. Around town my RB25DET will average 12-14L/100k's easily, not sure what it's claimed usage is. That to me seems about right for a car of it's weight and with a regular PSSHT =) Woops, getting off topic =) Yeah Turbo Territory... Yet another over powered family car =\ I'm gonna need to mod my car up just to keep speed with traffic =\
  13. I think we all agree that claimed fuel usage is just that... claimed.. Actual will more often than not be much worse! However, as far as its direct competition goes, it should be a good package =) Note: I'm NOT a Ford fan at all =D
  14. Yeah I read that, it gives a fairly flat looking colour. Selective colour seems give a nice, rich, pearl type finish.
  15. Just curious, I had a quick fiddle with PS but could not get a nice rich blue when using selective colour (ended up with that washed out blue on the first page). What techniques are people using to do colour changes? Cheers
  16. I haven't purchased from them but have sent a few emails asking questions. I usually just hit them again 2 days later and then they get back to you.
  17. Actually... I just found out that money I paid for wheels has gone to the wrong account so my buying things is on hold at the moment =( Hopefully it all gets sorted out fast and I'll have my 18's soon =\ and not lose my money ='(
  18. Yer, we've all had our moments =D
  19. Thought as much ^-^ Now I wonder what the H and M buttons do near the CLOCK?!?!?
  20. Yeah... umm.... sorry but you're on your own =\ Although, I still don't know what the blank key on my factory remote is supposed to do if that makes you feel better. I also have no idea what the rubber hose running up to the small vent near the electric aerial controll switch does =D There's some kind of wire/sensor their so I'll hazard a guess and say climate control but Reset button? C'mon How bout that?
  21. I've got the key fob with remote entry and accidentally set the alarm off the other day (didn't know it had one...) My fob has a spare button that seems to do nothing? Any ideas? I have a lock, unlock, turn interior light on/off button and a blank spare which I thought might be a panic button but does nothing... Was there ever a remote boot release option?
  22. Installed head unit tonight, no adapter for Antenna needed. Damaged a speaker though so will be replacing those very soon =D Look out eBay! P.S. Rear's are indeed circular and appear to have required adapter plates =)
  23. I just installed a Pioneer head unit tonight and noticed that I now struggle to get good reception with my aerial in half height mode (SII 33), but of course it's fine in full height mode. Not too stressed as the main reason for installing was to play CD's. Will whip it out and make sure that the plug is all they way in! Oh and the backlighting is bright as a mofo ut that's another story =D (There doesn't seem to be a wire for dimming either before someone mentions it)
