  1. I'v looked at those as a cheap weekender a few times, keen to hear what you think of it. Man/Auto? I see around the interwebs people are able to get 230-240rwkw+ out of them, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around 240rwkw from an NA v6 with exhaust/intake and a tune.
  2. Probably not far over, if at all or ever but it made sense to me to future proof it while it was being done. I wanted something reliable so my concept was build it for like 500+ or something and I could maybe expect it to last a bit at 80 or so % of its capabilities as I wanna be able to rack up some laps. Made sense in my head
  3. I dunno what that is, but purple makes me think Mazworx and I admit I did buy Mazworx headstuds lol Which are just proper length as I understand it. I might also have a billet girdle...
  4. So much hate lol I think I'll be keeping my bottom end spec list to myself...
  5. I'd agree with that. I did season with our club on them, New at the start. By the end I had the pressures worked out but you really did end up getting a 1-2 lap window, max, where you could go for a PB. They were OK otherwise, but that comment about being on ice is very accurate when they are outside the temp window. I won't buy another set, I'll go to slicks.
  6. Time to place your bets then. RWKW 260 290 310 330 350 Or Spun Bearing Rod/Piston Failure Headgasket Car caught fire due to lack of grommet on bulkhead ?
  7. LOL that quote will stay with me for a while "Maccas Carpark Stance Box". I'm hoping to outdo my mates and get like, maybe a WHOLE season of like 7-8 events before it blows apart.. f**king SR20s, why didn't I K-swap lol
  8. Sounds like I wasted a f**k load of money for my power goal vs spec list then...
  9. I'd be very impressed. I still can't fathom how nobody helping him with this build said build the bottom end to match your tofu spec head and EFR.
  10. Yeah you missed the point there champ, I was complimenting the fuel system as it's far more capable than the very obvious limitation of the bottom end surviving all the EFR can throw at it. Given the stage 4 crap though I assume I have just fed the troll and been successfull baited lol good job. My guess is either "that's really as far as we shoud push" or "f**k, we tried to warn you".
  11. Nah, it was being tuned at a decent shop, it'll be fine. Sure the result won't be earth shattering, but I'd think they'd just cap the power at the obvious safe limits. Hopefully he didn't say - keep pushing it til it runs out of fuel system 0_0
  12. Mounted at the base of the A pillar on a 6 or so inch phone and it takes up the whole display in landscape mode, all you need to know is green = good keep going. I tend to find the sector splits are in places on track where you can take a quick glance though. Works well for me. The automatic control of the GoPro and data overlaying is also very neat.
  13. Also use Racechrono with 10hz GPS, always within .1 of official timing and I love the sector splits in car and live deltas so you know if you should keep pushing or back off and abort the lap.
  14. I did the same for the 34, pro series 76mm, raw finish, no plazmaman badging/stencil, nothing. It had laser etched serial and details in one spot that you couldn't see unless it was removed. 100% stealth, looked just like factory.
  15. I'm so old I get that reference. Seems like his Go Go mobile is coming along nicely.
  16. Extracted max power then, just surprised a 2860 could provide the flow. How are the IATs?
  17. Big power for a 2860! Good result for baby cams, no doubt e85 helped. How much timing?
