    I have recently had to install a new clutch twice, and the box went on no worries both times, once in and once out of the car. Both times without an aligning tool, mine is MIA, you really can just do it by eye. I was shocked at how easy it was without it.

    Where there any other signs of turbo failure? Oil in intake etc? Cant think of when I've heard of boost leaking past seals into crankcase.

    Re box, box is a lot easier to move around than the engine IMO. You will want 2 sets of hands regardless. Personally, I'd put the engine in then bring the box to meet it as it's easier to maneuver. If your engine crane setup has the balance bar, that can help immensely. Otherwise, use ratcheting straps, but remember they only go one way under load

    Get it machined and I imagine you could do the work to rebuild it yourself if you wanted to, but I'm saying that after having invested a lot of hours and a few bucks in in learning and having just started a fresh build that didn't blow up (just pisses out oil from new front and rear mains lololol). Send it to NCR and I'll build it for you cheap as but you get zero warranty lol

    I went to a CFA call out, during that wet AF winter, thought I'll put my car off the side of the road to clear the way, woops, too far, dropped in up to the sill on the passenger side immediately, did call out, had a few goes at getting it out (had just switched back to road tyres, no good lol). Chucked my rear hitch receiver onto the DELP guys car and used my winch to pull the noise back out onto the road lol Scratched my rims too So yeah, I love those ditches!

    No I don't mean actual budgets, I just mean what you were observing, in particular how each team does it. Was there anyone there that was basically a group of mates/not major sponsors doing well? Or are they really just there to turn laps and enjoy the experience? I can't see my 5-600hp (if ever completed) and shitful driving, no motorsport ABS/sequential etc, even being allowed to enter lol

    I sold my dash/door cards so it'd have to be open for me, especially after cutting guards for 18x10s etc. Everything is for sale, I wouldn't say cheap.... Which car are you gonna take, I thought you were selling the S15 to me... cheap lol

    I wasn't joking lol I am keen to hear about the differences you observed while there. Only one person I know local to me has done it and said they spent easy 15k to attend, came 3rd in clubsprint that year and hurt an expensive gearset in the process. I love the idea of attending, but have a real hard time justifying the cost - but have limited exposure to real costs.

    How long are those sessions and if everything is going well how many laps could you realistically get in (hot)? Sounds like a very high dollar/lap ratio for all teams 0_0
