  1. Hey mate, How'd you go with the front reo bar?
  2. Sell the wife, get tuffer wheels, NO CHROME. And they are work, not volk
  3. Would you have the front reo bar, if so how much would you want for it?
  4. On a 33 the lock stops on the hubs do hit before the rack runs out, trust me i've spent hours under mine figuring it out, You have to cut the stops off the hubs, dont cut them flush, leave them with around 5mm of height that way you wont get rack bind. Then you will need the spacers. agree with this one fully though.
  5. 310HP????? My stock turbo made 290hp at the wheels.
  6. Would you have the front reo bar? If so could you send me a pic and a price Thanks
  7. Any chance on getting some photos sent today? Dont worry if i buy it i'll be driving down there and getting it myself.
  8. You know what, i didnt even think about the fact that the car may have been smashed, i had read through the add for it heaps of time and hadn't seen it, and yes it was written in there. I've got my guy in Japan looking into it now. Thanks heaps guys, you may have saved me a whole heap of crap. Will keep you posted on the outcome
  9. Here's some pics of a Stagea i'm bout to buy, just waiting for my guy in Japan to get back to me on final price. Obviously I'm gonna need to get a standard front end for compliance, is there anyone who can either lend or sell to me a complete front end, ie bonnet, lights, front bar and rio and headlights. I've already got the other parts i need sorted out, preferably people in Melbourne only just cause it's heaps easier. If anyone can help it would be a great help.
  10. Does the surge tank come with the pump, I'm guessing no
  11. What sort of Teins are they?
  12. I'm using Kuhmo KU36's on my 33 at the moment, they awesomw and they are cheap as, bout 240 each for a 245/40/18, with a tread wear of 180 i think
  13. anything besides a bridgestone, i found anything from them is gonna fall to bits, i found the same with the 18inch feddy's, 17 inch feddy's hold up awesome, i've just changed to Kuhmo tyres, they hold together all the way to the belts with minimal grip change
  14. I know you said you done want a twin plate, but i've had two cars with OS Giken twins in them and they are awesome to drive, they fell just like a standard clutch, no grabbyness, bunny hopping or any other funny buisness, and the best bit is when it's worn out you just get it rebuilt, which cost much less than replacing a single. Just make sure you get a SPRUNG center clutch, Not SOLID, Solid = gay
  15. most volk rims come in 19inch variety, they look nice otherwise stick to 18's
  16. you can get new ones from most industrial bearing supply shops
  17. any idea wat offset these are? I'm guessing bout +20
  18. Contact Driftline, they may have room, though i don't have his number at th moment. Wil get back to you if i find it
  19. Keen to know as well, i have a spare giken twin i need rebuilt too. They are an awesome clutch, i've had two cars with them so easy to drive
  20. your comparing different sorts of tyres, the R1-R is nearly a semicomp, where as the RE001 is a street tyre and isn't any where near as soft, it's only a replacement for the rest of the old RE040's and the likes. If your looking for grip i'd be going the toyos for sure
  21. How exactly would you tune them, i bought a set ages ago and took them out cause i didn't know what to do with them
  22. I dont think there is much wrong with you steup, nearly 300kw is always going to be hard to put down in a 32, let alone with a 30 bottom end Going 265's will make the grip much better, you should think about heading towards a 595 rs-r, which is almost a semicomp and are still very reasonably priced. Other than that softer springs and stuff in the rear
  23. Could you send me some photos of the brakes, i may have a friend that could be interested.
