ive had the car for 100000kms i service the car every 5000kms and every service i measure the oil and i always have lost 500ml every time. I use motul 5w40 but my car does not stop all day so mayby its understandable. My garage floor is pollished concrete so i know there is no leeks. funny my 78 skyline c210 did the same 500ml every time weird i thought it was a skyline thing mates c34 just got 230kwatw on e85 and the auto is shitting its self and he fills up every day. keep us up to date with the resaults i want to get mine done soon.

There is a lot of action going on there it looks like the workshop is still open and the showroom is the only thing that is sold. i know a lot of people were owed money even a few of my supplyers so its worth just dropping through because they wont pickup their phones.

Spoke to my mechanic poping out the pod filter is timing out and poping out the exhaughst is tuning eg unburnt petrol hitting the hot exhaughst he had an mr2 with the problem and actually showed me it was actually intresting

do you have an alarm

there is a switich on the handbrake adjust it or change the switich to a different type and how long do use the turbo timer for in sydney it illegal to have your car running and you are out of site of it.

is a theif going to know to not put the handbrake all the way down and you still have the steering lock

Yep the cluster needs to come out and the box is just behind it held with one screw I don't have a photo of the relay that I put in but just get a normal automotive change over relay and follow my instructions and u can't go wrong

the box is right behind the speedo and i ran an ignition wire up but there is one there already

ok so the common problem people have with c34 stageas and turbo timers is when the lights are on auto and the turbo timer is on and u get out the lights dont turn off even when u open the door you must wait till the car shuts down then open and close the door very anoying. The easiest fix is put a relay on the earth wire {black wire} to the auto lights module behind the instrument cluster and hook it up to the ignition so when the turbo timer shuts down the lights go out no matter what. i wired mine up that way 1 week ago and works great. i even covered the sensor on the dash with a black sticker so the lights are always on when i am driving looks better and safer parts needed 5 pin relay female spade terminals and crimper screwdriver test light or multimeter relay pin 30 cut earth wire from auto light module pin 85 ignition pin 86 earth pin 87a other side of cut auto light wire have fun

Ok so my sterio was big then I cut it down fron 4 amps down to 2 and from 3 subs to 1to start draging it and to beable to put my toolbox in the back. The alternator was a pain I had to get the biggest amperage alternator that could find in the standard spot I used bosch 120a alternator vl commo alternator housing and the standard pully the bosch alt would not bolt up and we stripped the bosch 120a internals and put them in the vl alt housing because they would not fit in the standard housing and the vl is a little bigger once all back together works almost great but needs a smaller pully alt does not charge below 1000rpm my car never stops so no major problem for me

what alternator and how many batteries r u using.

right now i got the lights turning off when the turbo timer turns off it works great but i want it to turn the lights off when i hit the alarm thats saturdays project

I spent the whole day making my tracking unit close all the windows and sun roofs lock unlock doors remote shut down all via sms. Doing both sunroofs were a little pain in the ass to hook up but finally got it It all works great now Oh yeah made my auto lights turn off with the ignition only not the door because of the turbo timer I am happy now

$1000 is too cheap i did it my self but used tommee head gasket $250 arp head studs $130 the head service was $330 radator flush some new hoses vrs kit and all other gaskets and seals timing kit from nissan was almost $1200 in the end it was just over $2000 but it was done using all good parts and no labour so $1000 SOUNDS TOO CHEAP mine was caused by the mechanic who did the timing belt 10 000kms before hand did not know how to bleed the cooling system right and all the rb motors have a bleed bolt at the back of the motor and it is verry common to blow the head gasket if it is not bled out right he learnt a big lesson when i finnished with him and now he is not a mechanic any more. i would be budgeting more like 2 to 3k take it to somewon who realy knows skylines where r u what state ?
