  7. a very neat looking white 32gtst heading along belconnen way towards civic this morning around 9:20
  8. It's got 213,000km on it. The owner I bought it off in January believed it should actually be at around 160k but he accidentally 'bumped it' forward when he was replacing the dash.. there's no way to prove that one way or the other so we'll just stick with 213k I guess. It's lucky to have done 7000km since I got it. The car has been running quite nicely since the rebuild and no problems have cropped up.
  9. And, just like that, my car is now up for sale (much to sl33py's dismay I'm sure). Here's the link for anyone interested in seeing the dyno sheet, if not the rest. I'm doing it a little sooner than I'd imagined.. and I'm feeling pretty crap right about now; but who knows, maybe I won't get any bites and I can keep it a while longer I figured I'd try and let go of it while the going was good. Maybe I'll actually be able to start saving again!
  10. Engine rebuilt 5000kms ago. Rebuild included: o New GTR rods o High flowed turbo rebuilt o Steel head gasket o ACL race series bearings o Reconditioned head The rebuild was looked after by Julian (widebody32) at Jay’s Race Engines. Julian's GTR incidentally won HP Heroes in this years summernats; so this job was done by someone who certainly knows their stuff. The car is currently pulling 265 RWKW off a safe street tune. Anyone looking for more power could probably squeeze 275 out of it Engine cont. • ACL forged pistons • After market injectors • FMIC • Oil catch can • Turbosmart type3 blow off valve • N1 oil pump • N1 water pump • Splitfire coils • Aftermarket fuel pump • Aftermarket fuel regulator • K&N POD filter and cold air box • Blitz Dual Solinoid boost controller • Recently rebuilt gearbox • Exedy single plate clutch • 3” exhaust from cat-back to 5Zigen tip • Microtech ECU • Adjustable exhaust cam gear Suspension • Lowered springs • Bilstein shocks / coilovers Body • GTR front bar with GTR blinkers • GTR side skirts • 19” wheels with some decent dish Other • Alarm and Touchpoint immobiliser • Engineer’s certificate • 12 months NSW rego. Located in Canberra. Asking for 20k. Adam
  11. Thanks for a well organised day. Yeah, there sure were plenty of people looking after each run, which was nice. I'm pretty (well, very) happy with how my car went. I should thank Julian (widebody32) for getting it in its current shape! It was good to meet you John, and to catch up with Ben (Sl33py).
  12. Hi, I've got a chasis No. to check if that's okay: ECR33-054695 Thanks, Adam
  13. Hi can I get 6T91MPAAATYKXV013 checked please? Thanks
  14. Spotted Sauce turning into springvale drive this evening. Car sounded nice. I was *sniff* a passenger in my GF's car.
  15. Well I found out today that the car is written off. It was an awesome car that treated me well. I'm still undecided as to whether I'll get another 'line striaght away. I might actually see what it's like to have some money in my pocket for a change and get something cheap (oh god what am I saying?).. I have every intention to get another one at some point though!
  16. Thanks guys. Yeah. I too hope it either fixes up just like it was or I can find another nice replacement (the GF had a go at me for jumping the gun and scouring the for-sale section last night ) No harm in preparing for the worst.
  17. Hi guys, Unless there was another crash that morning this one would have been me and my white 33. It was on ellenborough drive at the turnoff to barton hwy. I was going striaght down ellenborough toward the city and someone didnt see me coming and started to turn from ellenborough onto barton. I didn't have time to get out of the way. The other driver and I are fine. Bit of a sore neck for me today (day off work, woo!) but I'm trying not to think about the real issue here, the car! I'm not sure at this point if my baby will make it. Her front-right quarter is now gone. The wheel was twisted back in a way that no man should have to see. The door was crumpled in a bit as I had to barge against it to get out. I don't know how fixable any of it is so I'll just wait and hear from the insurance guys I spose. Adam.
  18. I think upping the speed limit to 130 along, say, the hume might be worth a shot. It is boring and I think todays cars handle that speed quite well. I've been on the motorways up and down England a couple of times and think that it seems to work okay going a little faster. At least when it's dry. I remember being a passenger when my mate's learner-driver wife was behind the wheel of a tiny hatch in the rain doing those sorts of speeds and shitting myself. Oh and I'm not sure how many kangaroos and wombats they'd have running across the roads over there at night...
