the hks evc uses a stepping motor. I've used the apexi avcr and now I'm currently running the evc. My tuner, Matt- Hitman, said i wasted my money. He thinks if tuned properly the avcr is the best out there. So now I'm just using that as my boost gauge.

i didn't measure mine but i'll say 7-8cm x 5cm roughly. the control unit is built into the screen. (evc 5) evc 4 has a separate control unit

i always take my car to pro concept. price is a little dearer than others but he knows his shit and takes great care of all the cars that enter his workshop

I don't think this is fair. Why should your mate fork out the bill when you clearly reversed into him. When you called the insurance company what did you expect them to say when you continuously used the word 'illegal'? From my point of view you are not a very good mate. You clearly do not want to pay for his repairs judging by your continuous statements of 'he was parked illegally" to make your point. This is a matter of morals and in this case you were in the wrong. Glad your not my friend either. And if you continue to persuade yourself that you were not in the wrong and he was at fault, you can forget about calling him your 'best friend'. In my opinion you should fork out 100% of the repair cost.

For a 33, the wheels will rub at full lock with 245 tyres. 235 should be fine.
