Good to here. yeh Its not bad hey and i am feeling better but it gets a bit boring by yourself, but its all good (and a reason why i payed upfront so i would go!) i ended up making myself sick on saturday morning (hadnt eaten properly, tired and just overdid it) not good. What sort of things did they get you doing
-
Troy- U still here Hows the gym stuff going etc Enjoying it and stuff like that? mat
-
Immaculate, I'll PM you dude... Whats Autronic (sp) like in wrx's?? Sven. I came across a few 4drs and i love skylines but i would never really get them as they dont do much for me..
-
Hmm well i am open to suggestions (keeping in mind reasonable price and it has to be no older than 5 years (hopefully anyway).
-
I've driven modded versions of both and i really like them. The back seats are easier in a rex than a skyline, with the extra two doors etc. I've sat in them and the rexes definitely have a bit more room. Havent seen the boot for a skyline, so i dont know how big it is etc. Unfortunately both are getting pretty common, so it has to be different. Although $$, a better box has to come straight away.... You have to be realistic!!

hahaha sorry dude. Your car was awesome and i liked the one from autoworx, its just that i ALWAYS have full size passengers, gotta cart lots of gear around (fishing gear, dive tanks, golf clubs etc) and the insurance is a bit cheaper. Wot i would give to own both........
-
Daniel Like i said, i looked around for a line and came across a couple i really like.... Glad i didnt buy one. I love them, but they are so impractical for me. Looked around for a Chaser too, but i want a newish car! The thing that changed my mind was a ride in a good mates club spec 4!!!! u may know the car....... The other one i went in (similiar) was almost as quick. So yeh in the market for a rex (has to be silver) and im in no hurry, because i soon as i get it, everything has to go in (new box, turbo, ecu etc.........) When the right car comes along (and i know the one i want!) i'll jump right in. You had a skyline didnt you. How do you find they compare (i've driven both and i like em both) mat
-
WTF i just found out my mates car got hammered but an unregistered (??) car on the rollaboys cruise on saturday nite. fark, those guys cant drive........ Anyone else go along
-
Yeh. how'd u go?? did u use a P.trainer or just go along for a play....
-
Nah wasnt me. I finished up about 11 oclock. did u go to osborne park??
-
Me too BamBam How'd u go If your up for it, u interested in meeting up for a session one morning?? mat
-
yeh im just gonna work into it slowly, my knees are a weak point (bit like jelly after an hr). upper body feels better. The personal trainer just showed me how to use all the equipment and what i should be doing each session (ie weights work one day and cardio the next). He did try to get me to "hire" him out for 6 weeks or sumthing for another $650+ fark that, im not a millionaire!! But overall he was pretty helpful
-
Yeh i went for my first session today. used the personal trainer for an hr (although taking it fairly easy) and i can feel muscles i never knew existed!! Mat
-
G'day all i could so get into this whoring thing!! Paul and the other Gym guys, how did you find it?? Kinda hurts hey Mat
-
Anyway, im outta here. a nice warm bed is calling!! I dunno how ppl whore so quickly either!! Take it easy guys cheers mat
-
yeh i plan on going 3-5 times a week. I think i'll get over the whole intimidation thing afta a week or so anyway. Yeh i joined up with Dan and the other guys at zest (so i've only met dan so far). looking forward to it though Mat
-
fark!!! thats awesome. I managed to get it down to about $2500, which is better than what i expected. Im nearly 21 to. Alot of Insurance companies dont really have set quotes do they. Speaking to 3 different people from the same place, with the same car gets you 3 totally different prices....
-
Adrian, from reading whoretown, you go to the gym a fair bit dont you??? Whats it like and stuff. My first session is tomorrow so a little intimidated i guess
-
yeh i would love a skyline, however the cheaper insurance, better condition cars for the money and being able to seat a couple more people comfortably set it in stone for me. The first turbo car i went in was a modded skyline so they hold fond memories.... mmmmm boost!!!
-
nah, all ready to put down a deposit on an autoworx car (although a car i had a drive of at CRed was ok too) but sumthing said no..... Found out a couple of guys at work (who i've known for ages, just never knew they had good cars) have rexes that do easy high 11's (with nos) and low 12's (without). So after having a drive in their cars, i've decided on a rex....
-
You still around Pacey?? Hows your car. You bought it from Col didnt you??
-
Kris. I was in a similiar position (but im heading over to the dark side... more on that later) but shop around and hassle as many people as you can. Ask as many questions as you like and drive as many cars as you can. Most of the places i went to, were very funny about insurance and wouldnt even let me look at the car, without looking over my shoulder constantly. Getting a test drive also proved difficult (at some of the dodgier places) Remember you get what you pay for. I looked at some for around 16K and they were in really awful condition. Places i found that had good cars were Autoworx, C Red and Extreme Machines. There are other places that sell good cars, however if i was buying a skyline (and i almost put a deposit down on one) i would visit these guys again... Various people told me negatives and positives about all three, however i only found them to be more than helpful. They also had the more expensive cars i came across BUT they were in far better condition. Cheers Mat

How tall are you guys with R33 GTS-T's?
docile replied to a topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
You will have no problems in a 33, providing it doesnt have a sunroof! I'm fairly big and about 6'5 and fit in them reasonably well. Cheers Mat -
Cool. I would love to be able to make it on the saturday but my bosses wouldnt really agree! Thursday or Friday morning is cool. Which day is easier for you?? I should really PM... Ohh well Cheers Mat
