Thats what i'm saying, but heaps of people are lazy...... Its easier to give someone some money (a trustworthy person ) and let them do it... I cant do net banking, so I will just do it the old way! But if its a group thing, you will get more i would think... And yes we've all saved money from using these forums.

Its clear heaps of users are complaining about forum speeds etc and i've read more than a few posts, where people would put in a few bucks towards a "group donation" towards SAU (ie at cruises etc) I also think a lot of people arent prepared to use internet banking (for whatever reasons......). I'm like this unfortuneately (but would love to donate) So heres what im thinking... Next cruise (or meet up, or any other way) I was thinking maybe someone could collect some money (even 5bucks. Some of us cant afford as much as others remember!!) and we could have a WA group donation. Whats everyones thoughts on this?? Cheers Mat

Nice pics! I went for a few hours this arvo to see a few mates cars (on display, on the dyno and in SPL) and too be honest i wasnt really impressed. I see the same cars everyday in their garage's or out the front of my / their house...... Sure there were some nice cars on display, but it was very crowded.... Congrats to Paul and All the SAU guys / girls (and Dan with RB etc ). Your cars looked great and the effort you guys put in really shone through. Well done.

Yeh, i was supposed to go help some mates set their cars up, but we all have to work..... (we work together, so we couldnt get the evening off). Thats good news about your car, it will look good. I cant drive until december 29th and its making me very grumpy That and breaking up with my GF after 2.5yrs

Ok, this guy (and MANY others and A LOT OF YOU) was being stupid. Live and learn by your mistakes. How many of you have your speed limiters removed. WHY??? For those that say TRACK WORK, what about the REST OF YOU... IMHO you get dangerous speeding and "safe speeding". Driving at 150kms down perth freeways at 2am is not really dangerous. Sure if you stuff up, you can pay the highest plenalty, but the roads are good, plenty of light, lots of space and you can see a long way around you. Doing 60 kph in a school zone or residentual area is dangerous. Kids DONT look, when stuffing around..... I got busted for doing the wrong thing (not as bad as 170kms but 130 in a 60 zone). Yet that area was out in the middle of nowhere, no one around (except for cops...) and at 2 am. Plenty of space, no side roads for passing vehicles etc. Give the guy a break. I'm not saying what he did was right, but im sure a lot of people on here have done similiar stuid things.

BLITZ. you are an idiot. So many people on these forums (ALL forums) make stupid generalizations like that. LS1's use oil, Every p plater with a nice guy, got it as a present. WRX are wankers. Drift panda, thats a pretty big generalisation. If you met me, i KNOW you wouldnt think im a wanker or up myself (ok now it sounds like i am, but im the most down to earth, relaxed person around) I drive a rex (a black one!!), so.... i know wankers in every type of car. Excels, pajeros, colts, lasers, commys, skylines....... Its a pretty ignorant statement.... Sorry but you get sick of it after a while. Its the same as saying every P plater had their cars bought for them by daddy.

It all depends on the compliancer. I have a booklet from Autoworx in WA saying how they comply their R33's as 5 seaters (therefor 5 seatbelts), yet another compliancer down the road only complies them as 4 seaters. Apparently its a cost (and maybe quality) thing

Ok dont even bother comparing a WRX to a GTR. In price they maybe similiar but thats where it ends. WRX = GTST basically BUT lets not go into this again. Go the GTR. Not as common and besides the new wrx's look so fugly with those new lights. What were they thinking..... The bug eyes looked good, but the new ones aghh

That i can say i've done on the odd occasion with a few mates. The ones that are heavily modified always nail me, however you cant compare a car with a heap of bolt on's and big turbo to a car thats stockish. The skylines that have similiar mods, tend to get beaten fairly easily. Saying that, Skylines seem to have better top end. The only guys who can honestly comment are the guys who have owned or driven A LOT of both. ---2FARDOWN--- WRX's are awesome cars. Everyone (well almost ) seems to baby the WRX's when it comes to launching. We all know that WRX gearboxes and drivelines have problems. There fairly quick stock and fun cars to drive. Skylines are equally as awesome, just in different ways. They can be made to look awesome (both cars definitely need improvements in looks when they come out of the factory) and my mates thrash theirs. If i treated my car like they do, it would be all over..... They are also pretty quick for a stocky and again a fun car to drive. I could fill 10 pages about good and bad points for both cars. Just have a drive of a couple of rex's and then decide. Its a tough world when your made to choose between two awesome cars

pentae, i got nailed by a sil80 one day..... Well and truly. There are some nice, quick silvia's around. All of the skylines i've raced (with same mods etc) have all lost. I've been toasted by more modded ones. Sorry to single you out, but PAYDRO, your post makes you sound like a bit of a wanker, that has never been beaten, because you have the fastest car etc. I like to think im completely unbiased (because i love both and had to settle for a rex etc), but if were racing over longer distances, remember you guys run out of puff at 180 (speed cut unless you have a fairly "heavily" modded car). I dont.... Both cars have very good points, but again both cars have some bad ones. Respecting both is the answer....

Some of the comments in this post have actually made me dumber.... I've driven both a lot of both and nearly owned both. WRX was a forced second choice. I've been passnger in low 12 second versions of both and removing all BULLS%$T and bias aside, WRX are definitely quicker when comparing mod for mod. I had boost problems (only running 10psi) and i had alot of runs with a couple of mates 33's. Most of the time i pulled away. Now im running stock boost (about 15psi) i find i can pull away easily... Thats with all cars having the same mods (similiar pods, zorst etc). They are better manual drivers than me.... Although i have noticed that things seem cheaper with their cars. Both cars have some great points about them, but then again, both cars have some negative points. Both cars are awesome, but its like comparing apples to oranges.
