I walked into one of the larger "performance" car dealers and wanted to buy a car. To see if i could get finance i was basically forced to sign a contract. Three weeks later, they were still hassling me..... In the end, a family member got on the phone and sorted it all out. When i went to buy a skyline, the dealer (autoworx in perth) took my deposit, but deep down he knew the sale would fall through. he was cool, helpfull and understanding. No hassles getting my money back. When i bought the rex (private sale) the guy just thought i was some young punk taking his car for a thrash I didnt give him a deposit, i just said i'll be back with the money tomorrow..... He just laughed..... But apparently you have a 28 day cooling off period.

yeh it will work out the easiest I have a cheap imitation style pillar mount, which does the job. it looks kinda shithouse though. I bought it from Motoquipe (not a bad little semi-rice shop in floreat) for like $20 Places like supercheap etc sell universal pillar mounts, but for a proper moulded one for a 33, your looking at $$$. The skyline i almost bought had a boost guage mounted just behind the steering wheel too. That looked pretty good too. I've got some pics if you want them (email i guess).

hahaha sounds familiar and just as dodgy Paul!!! double sided tape probably wont work, because it doesnt stick to the dash and stuff very well (unless its on a flat bit). Just go a DECENT pillar mount and do it properly the first time. It looks the best IMHO and is the most conveniant method Trust me...... i know these things (isn't that rite paul )

MarkR33 has both (the workshop manual and owners manual) AFAIK know. He got them when he bought the car. Some good bits and pieces of info. He should be able to let you know where he got them, or like Angel said, try Extreme Machines

PSIKO, nah i have an XF Falcon which was going have a worked 351 conversion to run 10 seconds. Instead i bought the wrx and the XF is sitting in the garage. JIMIH, I saw you and FIST at the top car park at scabs on sunday night. We were going to come say g'day, untill our "mate" in that red r33 came into the carpark and started being stupid Chrisroi, thats the first i've heard about that!! Ohh well there goes ANOTHER few points. When i get my license back, i'll just try to bring as little attention to myself as possible. I'm getting a permit for as much stuff as i can, bugger them giving me a yellow for something simple like a POD

yeh well i sorta have...... Once i pay my fines its all over, so i'm going to work it out that i loose my license on monday!!! Yeh whats the worst they can do, give me a fine and take away 6pts In three months time i will be back on 12 Oh BTW, i found out that i have only been running 5-7psi of boost Took teh car to RMS and they sorted it out and now i'm back to the stock level of about 15psi Its a whole new car!!

OK, just a quick post to see if any of the SAU crew are going along to the PPCC cruise on friday night?? Was hoping to see a few familiar faces and SAU guys BTW its a northern suburbs cruise that leaves Burswood about 9pm on the 19th

I dunno what was wrong with it. He showed me, but i could only show you. Something about pressure etc. RMS= revlimit motorsport in cohn street, carlisle. The perth WRX crew use them so i thought i would give them a go and see how they went with some "simple" stuff

yeh if i save hard enough i can have front mount, exhaust etc by the time i am allowed to drive again, but i want to do as much as possible (autronics, big turbo, fuel, box etc) at the same time to keep labour costs down etc I just have to budget

Nah when i bought it, it was only running 7psi (which is WELL below stock) and i always thought it was just a dodgy boost gauge. It was still quickish, but i had to get a few things done at RMS today and they noticed it and basically fixed it all up. 14-15psi is standard on WRX. So much faster than on 7!

hmmm maybe hey. i was in that area (went to RMS) and there near oats street. If it was in the morning or late arvo it was probably me, if it was between 11-4 it wasnt! it wont be stocker for very long (esp now as i have normal 14psi boost, not the 7psi which my car has ran for the last two years). I have a 3mnth driving holiday coming up, so hopefully i will have a few bits and peices by the time christmas comes

yeh well at least their helpful. My problem would be that i would feel terrible asking them to pay up.... But then again, its your car and your money thats at stake

I know what you mean adrian!! i often come home late at night (i dont finish work untill 12 at the earliest most weeknights) and they always have a sad if people drive in and out of our street after 9pm!! They hate my mates coming around, they hate loud (read fast!) cars, unless its a camry they dont want to know you

I get like that too when shit happens. on the oustide your happy, but inside its all you think about. it just eats you away and makes things a lot worse. On the other side, you have a damn good reason to worry The car can be replaced (but then again, thats YOUR car), but like you say, its the money (which if worst comes to worst, im sure you would see again (although probably down the track)) Whats his family like with teh situation??

phuck hey. Honestly, everyone is undoubtably on your side and there is certainly NO shame in what has happened to you. If my neighbours saw mine or my brothers cars being repossed, they would think all their christmas's have come at once

So sure if worst comes to worst, you loose your car (which sucks and is wrong) but theres a lot of money involved and common sense says that he wouldnt have a leg to stand on in the courts

yeh i havent been on their cruises yet (actually only in my mates cars), but bugger paying 30 bucks.... Bam, hopefully all goes to plan then
