just something in the boost lines or something. so fullboost was only 7psi!! AT first i thought it was just my dodgy boost guage, then the guys from RMS sorted it out today. To start a friendly argument, my mates skylines with same mods didnt stand a chance when i was only boosting at 7psi They took a ride in my car tonight and all agree its much faster! Liz, it sucks and must be so hard but these things have a way of working out at the last minute. If not, we'll all go for a little holiday to the UK in all seriousness, i have NFI and i cant even imagine what its like, but IT WILL ALL come good, it might just take a while. sh^t gotta go pick brother up. speak to you all a bit later

Although i cant comment, its probably not worth getting upset over (which is impossible of course!!!) because IT WILL all work itself out Your not the one in trouble, and im sure the bank etcwill realise that you shouldnt come to grief over all this. Sneeza, i think the majority of us DO see both sides of the story. Sure some of us (myself included of late) have more than the odd rant, but IMHO we do see both sides. G.D cops have some awful jobs (imagine telling a mother that her son has died, imagine being the first to rock up to a murder scene, imagine being involved with rape and domestic violence). Its not pretty stuff. I have GENUINE respect for those jobs. The again they give some of us genuine reasons why we should show no respect to them..... A quote from a very senior officer (also a VERY good mate) whos been in the job over 30 years "theres been so many changes in the last 10 years. People used to join the police force to make the community a better place. GENUINE reasons, with FAIR coppers. Not so anymore and its easy to see within my coworkers. The attitudes of alot of young guys and girls leaves something to be desired" IMHo this is where the problems with disrespect / dislike come from. Combine OUR attitudes (towards them) with THEIRS and all sorts of problems arise.

Erik, dont listen to MarkR33!! In all honesty just take it too XSPEED or anywhere else and get them to do it. Sure it will cost $50 but you will have no hassles and problems and they will find the best place to put it, WITHOUT cutting and drilling your dash to peices

Yeh. I can 110% confirm that multinova thing is true and they wont book you for minor stuff They will however get you for major stuff

Ok its sorta true. The police have been involved in Union talks or whatever so if you get caught doing MINOR things (ie 15kms over, not stopping fully at a stop sign etc), you WILL be let off (providing the cop isnt a prick). If you hit 200kms on the freeway and get caught they WILL nail you etc. This has been happening over the last couple of weeks. They just pull you over and give you a warning etc. The've also been sitting in FRONT of multinova's on marmion ave, to stop people getting caught (the multinova guys arent involved with the pay disputes, so thats why thats happening etc)

Ok, my girl's upgraded her car (and drives mine now i have no license) to a lancer :roll: so its time for her to sell her old car Like above, its a 1985 corrolla sedan with 185K on the clock. It would make an ideal daily hack. Its in pretty good condition for its age (however it could do with new tint and a respray). Paint is showing its age, but it could be in alot worse condition. In very good working order and uses bugger all fuel and oil. Its not a bad little car. Yeh i was thinking about that Cam. I have two fines which i want to pay asap, so i can get back on the road by Christmas Theres only 3 good points to all this. 1) car racks up less k's, so better resale 2) i save money AND the biggest thing 3) car stays in the garage and gets the full treatment in "secret"....

Ok well after last night, i have now lost my license thanks to the unfreindly wankers in the police department. In the last two weeks i have been pulled over 9 or 10 times. Twice for speeding (the one last night took the cake as it should have been only a 1pt fine not a 6 pt). Fair enough i do some stupid stuff on the road (speeding, ISD's etc), and i'm more than prepared to take the punishment, but when you just keep getting hassled..... Thats crossing the line. Up until last night (before being pulled over the SECOND time) i lost all the genuine respect for the police. So how many times have you lost your license (and maybe post for how long etc)?? Rant off/ EDIT. The first option should read i HAVENT been caught yet... (maybe a mod could change it for me)

Yeh but hes already spent heaps (silver MY01 with fast n furious stickers) and hes ran a low 12. Yeh but hes SERIOUSLY thinking about taking it to Rigoli's. For 28K you can get a low 11/ high 10 sec package with a modena dog box apparently. Hes got quotes from Speedworks and Xspeed so hes going to get in contact with them now. Yeh but paul my insurance will be so high once i loose my license yeh, ummmm, err GF doesnt know and whatever i spend on my car i just halve she would have my balls if she knew how much all this will cost

yeh that was the odd thing. I just played dumb and said i've never heard of them or never been. I mean the freeway, with little traffic is one of the safer area's to speed. I could have been booting it down a suburban street with kids playing (which i dont) Ohh well shit happens.

nah i was on the freeway going north (on the on ramp near the city) and it was an 80 zone (however i thought was 100) and because no one was in front of me, i gave it a bit of stick. Because i didnt see them (they were well behind me), i just kept going faster. They had to acclerate to WELL over the speed limit to catch me (i wasnt running and they knew that). They were nice guys and said i was at license loosing speeds blah blah blah. Which i was (so no point getting upset at them) They reduced the speed down a bit so i wouldnt loose my license etc. THEN they said theres a time and place for everything and havent i heard of ISD's WTF!

Hey All Hows things Niz and everyone else just got another speeding fine today. $350 and 6points. one point left to last me 2.5years. Pfft as if Cops are alright hey. They caught me well over the limit and i was still pulling away, so they reduced the fine! still.....
