It hasn't been said whether the lifters have been pulled apart and cleaned yet. Carbon clogged lifters will bleed down at high rpm and won't pump back up because of the sludge in them, it will go away after the car sits for a while because the tiny little spring inside the lifter piston pushes it back out to let oil in to it so it's pumped back up next day when you go to turn the car on.

I'm assuming you mean it won't disengage the clutch. Long story short the only difference between the two is the rod length, the one you have is too short and won't disengage the clutch.

I drilled and tapped four holes in the front of it, then made a plate that bolted to the pulley that I could get a wheel puller on. There has to be an easier way though.... anyone else?

Looks like the ol' understeer in to a curb trick. Replace lower control arm and rack end. The chassis should be ok but not guaranteed, the castor rod bush even though not leaking it could be questionable

They are some big housings on it which will make bottom end torque pretty lazy, not sure of approximate power figures though.

The bearing that the input shaft runs on at the front of the box, though it's unlikley it's that it is worth having a look at. It sounds like more of a throw out bearing issue but as you said earlier it was new. The next step is pull it apart and inspect.

After many unsuccessful phone calls to wreckers i'm putting the call out. I need a couple of connector plugs to go on my aac valve, it doesn't matter if they are the exact plugs they just need to be the same style. I want to get rid of an Aqua One tank and accesories that's taking up room. I bought it second hand off a friend who bought it new and he only had it setup for a couple of months. The dimensions of the tank are: L=800mm W=400mm H=600mm It comes with An Aqua One CF-1000 canister filter and Aqua One light. The stand has a bit of damage to the vinyl covering on the right side but it isn't really noticeable. I'm just after what I paid for it which was $260 but I am negotiable.
