still didn't get a chance to install it as I spent so all my afternoon playing Crysis, which by the way is absolutely awesome!

this game is hands down one of the best games ever made in my opinion as I spent a few more hours playing it last night its got unreal graphics, absolutely crazy gameplay and suspense, so many cool features and I love the suit modes especially the cloaking capability. 10/10 from me.

hahaha from what I read, its all about the graphics and not much of a gameplay... but I'm guessing multiplayer would be fun. Anyways, I'll know later on today.

I take my comment back!!! Just started downloading this game now! also after that Black Area 51 and Need For Speed ProStreet. all 3 should be finished in a few hours. Payback is pretty small in size (27 x 100mb) compared to Black Site Area 51 (112 x 100mb - 2 Dual Layer DVDs!!!)

since I know its a risk and I am aware that the person doing the job may not do it well, or even f**k it up pretty badly, I know whether to take a risk and get them to do it or get somebody else to do it who knows how to do it properly in the first place, so complications don't arise costing me quadruple to fix by somebody who knows what they're doing. Something along those lines =)

I loved the first one. Clocked it and played days and days of multiplayer deathmatch on lan with a few friends at my home. Second one was shit. Hopefully this one will be like the first one with all the present day graphics and physics etc.

at least I know my dad is not a carpenter and I can expect him to not do a good job so its a managed risk factor, hence if its not a job well done, I know I will have to pay a professional who knows what he is doing to fix it up - therefore I will not let him do it in the first place =)

hey dude I'm not really sure on any of the details of the floor. I found timber floors the colour and style I want and they're going for $24 per sqm. They have the tongue and strips so you just piece them together, and apparently without using glue or nails to join them.

awesome game! absolutely crazyyyyy graphics and physics and I love how you get different powers using the suit's modes. Amazing scenery and its pretty fun to play... pretty much same as Far Cry was. As for performance... well I tried running 1920x1680 (my monitor's natural resolutaion) with all quality details maxed out to Very High including anti-aliasing 16X however it was running fairly choppy. So I turned the Anti-Aliasing to 4x and set details to High and it ran smooth, while still looking incredible.

hey thanks for the tips dude. my dad wants to do it coz hes done it before, but I don't know if I should let him coz hes known to not finish the job he starts lol. I'll just go get some quotes over the weekend and see what the best prices and quality of work is and see if its worth paying or DIY.

Hey guys I will be stripping out the carpet in my new home to install timber flooring. I can't say I know much about it but am looking for a tradey who would be interested in the job. Will get the exact dimensions once I have a look at the floor plan. The job will involve a living room and 4 bedrooms including stripping the carpet. I found the floor I want however if the installer can give me a better offer on parts, I would be interested. So if you are interested or have friends who do it, please let me know. Also, I want somebody who is experienced and has done this many times before. Thanks in advance

yeah the straight front-on view is not exactly my cup of tea either, doesn't look quiet right. In fact, the black sorrounds don't even look carbonfibre hmmm... are they meant to be?

8800 GTX kicks ass compared to a GTS and is well worth the extra few hundred bucks. so far every game out on the market (and yes, I've got and tried them all - bioshock, world in conflict, quake wars etc.) runs perfectly smooth in 1920x1440 with high or very high settings. Still to check out Crysis as it seems absolutely stunning in regards to graphical and physical details, however I do not want a demo and will wait until a scene release. But I'm sure a fairly decent setup with a GTX will run it smoothly on high settings unless the software itself is poorly developed.
